  • I have an injured toenail from several years ago. I thought it was a fungus, but apparently it's something that can happen when the nail has experienced trauma (I rammed it on my dresser a long time ago, went to the doctor and they cut half the nail off, but should have removed the whole thing). Anyway, I saw a commercial…
  • Marie I hope your feet get better soon, and your toe. I've had a problem with my feet swelling for many years. I have hyperhidrosis, mostly of the feet and hands, so I think the swelling is related to that somehow. The worst is if it happens while I'm sitting for a while when out somewhere, they swell too large for my…
  • Stephanie, that is such a sad loss. :( That's so funny! And people would be shocked to see the junk in my house too. Luckily I'm better at this whole thing than I thought, so I don't go around devouring it like I used to. The sweets are things I slowly consume, but my husband can eat anything so I buy crap for him…
  • I'm trying! Haha. I'm seeing some new people starting to support and encourage each other too, so that's good! Gotta get everybody fit this year, next year when I have school and work I don't think I'll have time to read as many posts. You know what's great about trying to keep up with all these posts though? I'm not…
  • Awesome! And those are cute shorts!
  • Wow! I'm glad you were able to see the difference. It's a fantastic change! Very well done. :)
  • You're amazing! Great, great job! :)
  • Marie that's some good progress! You'll get there in no time. Belinda have a nice week with your son! You're probably the therapy he needs right now. And enjoy the sunshine! Barbie it seems to already be slowing down a little. Unless that's just because it's Sunday. I "only" have 50 new posts to read over there so far…
  • LOL, that's too funny. Marie this is like my cozy little home thread. :)
  • This is what I do too! It takes a decent chunk of time to get caught up with the new thread. I check in several times a day just to keep up so that I won't have several hundred posts to read at night. :O Again, me too! Haha. It is nice and quiet over here. :)
  • ^ Hahaha, that is so great. Haha, I loved that.
  • Yep, I was just getting ready to say Mrs. Dash! I believe there are atleast six different flavors. I love Mrs. Dash. And salt-free!

  • I feel like 1,200 would be more sustainable, while still giving you great results. Maybe you could discuss that idea with your doctor?
  • That's good advice, they have a lot of trouble finding a good vein on me. One of them suggested getting it from my big juicy wrist vein! I don't think so! I couldn't imagine having it taken from the hand either. Makes me shiver! I'm not sure if I was allowed to drink anything before testing last time, I hope I can so I can…
  • WOW! Nice, nice, nice! You worked hard for that, I hope you're very proud of yourself! :)
  • I'll have to get bloodwork done for insurance pretty soon, and I'm not looking forward to their scale. It's almost as bad as the needle, haha.
  • Not sure if it's added yet, but for just in case my total Easter loss was 16.6. The 4th of July thread is is really taking off! There's 124 comments waiting for me to read, wowzers.
  • Marie, did you click on the clear "star" outline at the top right-hand corner of the post?
  • HAPPY EASTER!
  • Chobani or Yoplait Greek 100 yogurts, lots of flavors and very good. Also, Ephram's pita bread (100 cals.), warmed, and spread with a The Laughing Cow cheese wedge (35 calories), and some cracked pepper on top. Only 135 calories and a nice size for a snack. Or string cheese, white cheddar low-cal popcorn, pretzel sticks,…

  • Sounds tasty!
  • Happy Birthday, Shirley! Looks like you got the best and cutest gift possible! (And the fitbit is a nice bonus :) ) I'm sticking with my Friday weigh-in, before allllll the food took place. So my total loss for the challenge was 16.6 lbs. Tomorrow is going to be my de-bloat "detox" day, I'm going to get back on my regular…
  • Well I've probably eaten more tonight than I have in a week. It's wasn't by accident though, which somehow makes it better? Haha. I will be eating a lot tomorrow too, I'm sure. Sunday will be back to normal though. I'm so stuffed right now, I can't wait.
  • Congratulations Shirley! I can only imagine how exciting and wonderful this is for you. :)
  • I love seeing the losses coming in! I got to weigh in today, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped for, but then I remembered a little bit ago I said something along the lines of "If I was down to 155 by Easter I'd be happy". So I need to remember that! SW: 184 Easter Goal SW: 171 Current weight: 154.4 GW: 135-140 Easter loss so…
  • Ten to fifteen pounds is a very achievable goal. Make sure you are burning more calories than you are consuming. Log everything. Stay dedicated! Good luck!
  • WooHoo! Great job! It really does fall off if you can find a way to stay committed. I have around 20 lbs. to go, and I'm really looking forward to finishing strong! Congratulations!
  • Eileen, there's nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment after doing a workout you felt too tired to do. I'm very proud of you for going through with it. It's acts like that that will lead you to success!
