Have you ever been to a sports medicine dr? I was having some knee pain and went to one that gave me some exercises to do to build up my thigh muscles and that would help with knee stress. Hope you find what works for you!

I see beautiful muscles! Buy a different fit of jeans for your strong, healthy legs!

I do force myself and the more I do the less often I have to "force". If you have built in rest days to look forward to that should help, too. If you are injured or sick then yeah, skip it. But if you just don't wanna - push through!

That is a good program! Yes, runners legs are a good thing! :)

Running works for me. My thighs aren't tiny but I like the shape of them much more now :) Of course as you know diet, too.

I would try a different kind. I have had things like this happen to me. I used to eat one that had whey protein in it and it gave me very bad gas and I felt very bloated after I ate it. I have been eating the Cliff Builders Peanut Butter Chocolate bars and haven’t had any gas or stomach pains.

Do you ever do smoothies with protein powder? It helps me a lot to do one for breakfast and get a lot of protein in. My smoothie this morning had 27g of protein (I use Sun Warrior protein, it is vegan), soymilk, frozen banana and frozen fruit. If I don’t track on MFP I rarely get all of my protein in, but when I do track I…

GO!!!!!!!!!!!! No one will be judging you. When I am out running and I see another runner I think “OH! Hi! Yay! A runner! You go girl” I never think “oh you really suck at this”. Go and have fun. It is so good for your mind and body. After you get comfortable you won’t feel like people are watching you. And they aren’t!!!…

I love this stuff! It is hard to explain. It looks gross. It looks like fish food. But it tastes really good and a good source of protein and B12. I most commonly add it to marinara sauce when we make spaghetti. For a jar of plain marinara I probably add about 1/4 cup to the saucepan while it is heating up. It makes kind…

Could you move the treadmill? I use my elliptical in the mornings and it was in the bedroom waking my boyfriend up. I moved it to another part of the house and now I can listen to music with all the lights on and not bother anyone. I am really scared of running at dark times. I have tried a few times but spend so much time…

Just added you. There are lots of vegans here and lots of support. Also nice to see people's food diaries because you get good meal ideas

Awwww that is a bummer! Sometimes it is tricky, things will say “lactose free” but then they still have dairy. Annoying! A few people have mentioned the Silk creamer – I love it. The French Vanilla and the plain are both really good and creamy.

Smoothie for breakfast with some Sun Warrior protein has been helping me stay full until lunchtime. I have been vegan a few years and vegetarian 10 years in May. I am not having a hard time finding foods to eat but I cook a lot. Also am lucky to work near several good vegan friendly places. Happy to see so many vegans here…
