Me too...born & raised in Thunder Bay, then lived in Toronto for close to 2 decades. Spent a bit of time back in Thunder Bay again, before re-locating to Montréal.

Do I chance taking the wee Monsieur out for a run, only to have his paws freeze, and I'll have to carry him home? Or do I just get a bunch of work done, here at home, and play fetch down the hall?

I'm still sittin' here, thinking "Who bursts into profanity...over BunBuns???"

Dude! That Pom is awesome! I've always had big BIG dogs, 'till this last one, and I've discovered the beauty of compact creatures. I'm pondering getting a 2nd, to keep Rudy company.... 2 dogs *is* more work, but it can be great in terms of them entertaining ech other. You just have to remember that they'll also teach each…

I also have 2 of these little goons. African Fire Belly Toads. Kelly & Lando. They live in a lovely terrarium, with a waterfall. They don't inspire....but they *do* sing, in the evenings. I'm sure my neighbors wonder what the 'eff that's all about.

I love my camera, as well... I take quite a few reference & inspiration photos for various work applications. Once in a blue moon I sell a couple of prints. Mostly, I just like snapping & sharing for my own entertainment

I'm not entirely sure he's an "inspiration", (unless I'm needing to be inspired towards surliness, or an indignant huffiness) but, this little jerk lives with me, too. His name is Icky, and he's an IrianJaya Blue-tongued Skink, measuring-in at just under 2 feet.
