I did say 'most.' ;)

Fermented foods are all the rage now, right? :D

This site is built around calorie counting. So most of us here do just that. :)

I guess my answer would be, "It depends." It depends on how steep your initial weight loss has been, and what you've done for that to have occurred. If you are way undereating and losing the initial weight quickly, it would stand to reason that you're leaving your body depleted, and therefore more susceptible to picking up…

Imo, it's the most humiliating show that's ever been on TV. And that's saying a lot.

I'm a big fan of aqua jogging in the pool. A great cardio workout, supports dodgy knees and the bonus is it doesn't make you sweat. :) Just google it.

100 oz of water = 6.25 lbs. Every day. So, depending on when you're weighing yourself, you could easily have a bunch of excess water in your system that you haven't managed to pee out yet. Also, why so much water? You naturally get quite a bit of water from foods and other drinks. No need to overdo it. It's not 'flushing'…

Don't know that there's a husband alive who wouldn't see right through that little ploy in a heartbeat. :D OP: You do you. Your husband will come on board if and when he's ready to. :)

My guess? One out of a thousand, if that. And the rest will be here on the forums, spouting the magic that is IF. :D

Zero calorie drinks have zero calories. Therefore you are providing your body with zero nutrition. Intermittent fasting isn't like fasting for religious purpose. If it 11:30 and your "eating window" is supposed to start at noon but you're really hungry or drank anyway, it's not like you're going to hell or anything. ;)

There's a special group here for MFPers looking to lose a significant amount of weight. Lots of support! https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/133315-larger-losers

This happens to me regardless. #oldpeopleproblems :D

You win the internet MFP today! <3 Also bear in mind that as a women, your weight will fluctuate monthly depending on where you are in your cycle. That, too, is just retained water weight, has *nothing* to do with fat gain, can be an alarming amount (roughly 5 lbs of bloat for most!) and will dissipate, too. You've got…

The database here is crowd-sourced. Even supposedly "Verified" entries can be way off. When in doubt, *always* use the stats from the nutrition label on the actual product you are using. :)

Here ya go! Edit: You might have to downsize it a wee bit! :D

I can have my cake and eat walnuts it, too. Best of both worlds. Everything in moderation. No demonizing needed.

Pulled pork. <nods>

1) Get a different trainer. Yours seems to be broken. 2) Get your doctor to refer you to a Registered Dietician (not a Nutritionist!) for help with healthy weight loss that won't have you relapsing.

The only difference I found when (briefly) drinking ACV was that I lost my will to live. :D

So very sorry for your loss, Chris. No one should start a new year - let alone a new decade - dealing with the death of a family member. Give yourself time and then step up to the plate when you're ready. And 'crushing it' isn't really a requirement. Slow, steady, consistent and sustained progress will win out every time.…

A green smoothie looks (and maybe even tastes) exactly like swamp water. As for pasta? Semolina or go home. ;) Oh, and kale? Yup, this: :D

Many people mistakenly think that organic produce is better for them, since the organic industry has invested lots of $$ promoting the idea that 'regular' produce is laden with chemikills and toxinz, while theirs are as pure as the driven snow. The truth, however, is an eye-opener. Most commercially-produced "certified…

Your body (and more specifically, your digestive tract) doesn't need a break. That would be like saying your heart and lungs need a break, too. ;) And your body not burning hot (whatever that means) having anti-aging benefits? First I've ever heard of that. And I've heard a lot. Do you have any links to where this was…

Yes, without any specifics as to what kinds of foods you're currently eating, and what kinds of foods you actually like to eat or are craving, it's tough for anyone here to make any meaningful suggestions. I also second having your doctor refer you to a registered dietician, as you appear to have some specific issues that…

Different, how?

You rang? :D PS: I love my air fryer. We have a deep, unbreakable bond. <3

This will generally only work until it doesn't. Most people find it waaaay too easy to wipe out the entire week's deficit (and then some!) by one day a week of eating 'lavishly' without also keeping an eye on the caloric cost of things. If it's working for you right now, that's awesome! But if and when it stops, you'll…

It astonishes me that in this day and age and on a site where you have to - technically at least - be an adult in order to participate, that people get themselves so twisted up over an anonymous reaction. I have been here since the good ol' days where threads went on for pages and pages with people saying pretty much…

I have lost over 75lbs and kept it off for about five years. I know about the diet industry and how the body actually works, but still learn new stuff every day. Especially when it comes to unproven products, methods or 'science' being promoted as miraculous fact. :)
-
And even using the word 'science' in this context is being generous. ;)
