How can you tell how much % of calories burned are fat vs water vs muscle?

I aim for a goal of: 35%fat/35%carbs/30%protein. I'm watching my carbs, not on a low carb diet.

I've read that the more you cook the pasta the lower the GI (breaks apart the bonds or something)... as well as adding lemon to it (or adding lemon to anything). I'm not sure how much it lowers the GI and since pasta is so high to begin with... might not be significant enough.

I get the ACEI and ARB for blood pressure and kidney protection.... should D2 patient be on statins even if cholesterol is ok?

My doctor suggested I split my dose between AM and PM to reduce GI problems.

Warm/hot water can raise your blood pressure... that combined with the lower blood sugar could have caused the symptoms. Especially after being in the cooler pool.

I take 500mg ER AM and PM. The first few weeks were tough... terrible stomach pains. Then it went away. No side effects at all now.... if I go a long time between meals I might get a little heartburn... but not often.

I had bad stomach cramps for a few weeks then they went away.... I am having almost no side effects now and am on 500mg metformin xr bid. If I go a long time between eating I get heartburn, but that may be my lack of a gall bladder as much as the metformin. My doctor also highly recommended it and put me on blood pressure…
