Ah ok, we were going to give it a shot, as I used to make my own dough anyway (a yeast dough with 5 million carbs no doubt). The recipe I found said to really drain it out well, and since I make cheeses and yogurt I have all the stuff to do that with.

I wrap quick breads in foil and freeze. When they thaw, they taste pretty much like they did fresh, other than they aren't hot. I cleaned out my freezer the other day and found a nicely wrapped loaf of pumpkin bread - from October. Now, I know I used white flour in it, so it's not on my "can eat" list, but when I thawed it…

http://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2015/01/03/Keto-Diet-Food-List-What-to-Eat-and-Avoid There's a list at the bottom of this page, it breaks it down by type of food (vegetable, fruit, etc) so you could probably take from that list what you need and leave the animal fats/proteins that you don't eat. I'm not really up on…

What was wrong with the cauliflower pizza crust? I had planned on making that tomorrow night. Not enough crisp to it?

Mini muffin tins. You could totally dip them like that and they'd be smaller. OR what about a cake pop pan?! I think that has gold written all over it. I love baking so I think I'll make up a batch and see what I can do (as I have tons of different pans) to either thicken the mixture in a healthy way so it can be scooped,…

It totally is. I used to be heavy on the powdered creamer and sugar, as is my son. I made a batch this morning and he drank it down with no added sugar and enjoyed it. I love it, it's so thick and filling. At first I read and thought "who the hell puts butter and coconut oil in coffee?! Sounds gross" but the texture is…

If they are too soft to dip right out of the oven, why not flash freeze (in a deep freezer on a sheet) and then dip and roll in nuts and bag them for the freezer? They might not be perfect balls, but I bet if you scooped it (guessing that's why by the soft texture) with a teaspoon/tablespoon onto a parchment lined sheet…

Grilled Salmon (in tinfoil on the grill) with butter, lemon pepper, salt and a spring of rosemary from my garden. Spinach was cooked in my cast iron that had a few leftover mushrooms and butter from last night. I know it's a lot of spinach, but I really like spinach, lol. I give this one a 10, the fish was perfectly flaky…

I am. We've been trying for over a year now. I didn't have problems before, as I've had 4 children, but this time I haven't had any luck. I do not have PCOS, though my doctor suspected it. She had a panel run and I am not insulin resistant and everything was normal as far as hormone levels, etc. Hubby is older than me (45)…

I noticed that too, that my sweat smelled stronger. Double up on the deodorant for sure. Even my gym clotehs smell like it

Anything with codeine makes me nauseous, so I sympathize with that! My ride home was way more eventful, I actually threw up in my own truck...at least it was my truck and not someone elses. It's hard to hit a grocery bag when you have 1 arm cast up to the shoulder at a 45 degree angle, lol. Taking anything with codeine on…

Please be careful with a rash with unknown origins. Last summer, my hands turned red and itched like crazy, as did my feet. I wasn't on any kind of diet and hadn't eaten yet, no changes in soaps or detergents. Within an hour my lips and eye lids had swollen and I couldn't breathe. My husband rushed me to the ER where I…

^I think that's what I like about logging. If I am hungry, I can flip over my logs and decide what fits into my goal. It takes the guess work out of it, and I know stuff that is already in my logs is things I like! That's really helpful when you're new to it. I think that also helps with grocery shopping, as I can look…

My daughter is 7 and she weighs 40 lbs. She's also very tall for her age, but super lean (and is tracked by her doctor every 3 months to make sure her weight is ok) and very low body fat. When she had a minor surgery in May of last year, she came out of the respiratory anesthetic before they even got her out of the OR. The…

I tried to lower my fat content and calories and while I did lose 10 lbs, it packed itself right back on when I couldn't cope, I felt like I was starving constantly. Even healthy snacks didn't cut it and I hated it. I knew I needed to lose weight, we've been trying for a baby for over a year and it's not happening, and my…

Light Ranch dressing...omg was it so nasty.

I cook in bulk out of necessity (not for leftovers) and found that chicken parm made a lot, took only 1 pan, and was really filling. So much that we had leftovers and that's unheard of in my house. I took 2 large chicken breasts, filleted them in half then cut down the middle (this made each one about 3.5 oz) which makes 8…

Kefir water is much more appealing than the milk I tried. It has the texture of water, though the smell is a little off putting at first...I use ripped old pantyhose to strain it. 14 days is about max for Kombucha for me, otherwise it's so acidic it burns (and tastes like vinegar, yuck)

This was something I didn't know and I've felt like crap since yesterday. Literally slept almost all day and just drained. I'm glad someone posted about this because I still felt bad this morning, then I read this, and literally drank a teaspoon of (kosher) salt in a glass of water. Normally that would sound sooo gross but…

I would like to know this as well as I am a fan of Kombucha tea and water kefir. I never could get milk kefir to function for me.

I'm worn out by 7-8 PM and in bed. I may not go to sleep right away, but I am tired enough to. I get up at 6 mostly sometimes a bit earlier. I'm only about a week in, but I have noticed I am more tired earlier in the evening.

I don't know about y'all, but that first cup of morning coffee gets me within 30 minutes - regardless of what I do or don't add to it. Black, cream and sugar, butter...doesn't matter. Same goes for my husband.

This was 7 servings (big family). Chicken Parmesan, 1 pan. I steamed broccoli to go with it and everyone else got pasta. It was fine without pasta. For the chicken, I just lightly seared the raw chicken (didn't even add any seasonings) then put a jar of home made sauce on it, sprinkled with cheese, and threw it in a 350…

If you like sherbert, you can literally just dump frozen fruit into a food processor and turn it on. It comes out great. Depending on the fruit you may or may not need to add a sweetener (raspberrys are a bit tart but come out good) I'm willing to bet if you put in milk/milk substitute with the fruit it would make a nice…

Currently a bit creeped out. Someone at my husbands work was asking him about me this morning. I've never even met this person before. And I've only been down to my husbands work once. Takes some balls to go ask a guy personal questions about his wife though...weird.

Granted, you have the transporter but it isn't always accurate, and not only does it drop you off in random places, but sometimes it drops off different body parts to different locations. It's like a scavenger hunt through the world to find your left foot. I wish I didn't have to do anything else all day.

Nothing new there, I live in the desert. Granted, but you realize that you can't find parts and it breaks down constantly. I wish I wasn't tired today.

Because duct tape sticks to your skin! #3 was my lie, I can't stand Prius' 47Jacqueline - #1 is the lie 1. I love cold weather 2. My dog is the biggest wuss ever 3. I have 7 children total
