Well, yesterday was a busy day. We had Back to School Night. I spent a lot of hours prepping...for the one parent who showed up! Plus, I was so busy I forgot to log in my food yesterday. I lost my 500+ day streak. Oh well. Here's too new start. Maybe it will motivate.

Zip-lining? Have you done it before? It sounds awesome. I don't know if I could ever dare to do it.
-
@1skholloway Yes, some men seem to be only on mfp to flirt. For a while I was really enjoying participating in word games, etc., but they seemed to turn so quickly into something else. I've pretty much limited it all now to just logging in my food and reading this group's posts.

@2020pinktogo Congratulations! That must be soooo exciting!!!
-
Whoohoo, an interview! You're getting out there!

Hi, all. @1skholloway It's time for me to mow again to, but the scattered showers keep getting me. I don't want to kill my mower by cutting wet grass. I know I have to do it though to keep from getting mosquitoes that thrive in the dampness. I'm hoping Louisiana recovers soon. @CaptainBoing Congrats! You've taken care of…

Welcome aboard, @jiggy242. :)

@JanolaBarbara Yes, our tummies let us know when we're eating healthy and when we're not. We just have to listen. @blitzbis Congrats on your great Monday! Here's wishing you many more.

I had a good Monday for my first day of school. The kids were chatty but good. We got a sudden rainstorm at dismissal. Other than that, all went well. I think it's going to be a good year! I think caffeine has a greater effect on me now. I do have trouble sleeping if I have it in the afternoon or evening. Maybe it's like…

I had a cortisone injection a few years ago for back pain. It worked like magic, and I only needed the one shot. School starts tomorrow. I'll be tutoring mostly first graders this year. It's going to be an exciting day!

Ok, I will have someone look at me on the floor, but I will not have anyone snap my neck.
-
@2020pinktogo Isn't that a great feeling when you feel you've won (car insurance)? @CaptainBoing I wonder if legs work the same way. My hip feels sore at times, and I think my left leg is shorter than my right.
-
@1skholloway Awesome weight loss! Congratulations. I, too, lost a lot of weight before and gained it back. This time it's a much slower ride, but it's a lifetime change I'm going for not a quick fix.
-
okay, i get it. I forgot you were the cool one. :)
-
@2020pinktogo I don't get it...Why did you turn purple?
-
Must be nice not to sweat. I sweat in the summer when it's hot, and I sweat in the winter when people turn the heat up. I learned a long time ago to dress in layers. It rained most of the day today, and there's a flash flood watch through tomorrow. I did a lot of walking indoors and stuck to healthy eating for a change.…

We've been getting rain in Austin as well. My lawn needed it. Now, that you've mentioned it tomorrow I'll do some pruning too. My crepe myrtles are as tall as the house. That's okay for the backyard, but I'd like them shorter in the front yard. I've had too much salty food lately. I need to stop that. Whenever I have…

@JanolaBarbara Congrats on getting the bridesmaid dress to fit perfectly! I've got a red dress buried deep in my closet that I am going to set as my goal for Christmas. I've got four months, plenty of time to do it. I also have my annual physical in November. I don't want my doctor recommending any meds because of this and…

@1skholloway I thought the number would be higher...Then I thought others probably smoke, drink, etc. so that's why it's "only" 43% overeating when stressed.
-
@1skholloway Glad your earlier problem was solved. The peach problem doesn't seem as big. You can take care of it easily with your workout. @2020pinktogo No pain no gain. :) I recently started to have a little sharp pain in left hip every now and then. I hope it goes away. I think it's related to lifting heavy stuff that I…

Today was a good day. That cloud hanging over me yesterday is gone. I enjoy walking by myself so that I can set the pace according to my mood. @2020pinktogo I also don't like people touching me. I don't even like things touching me: no earphones, no jewelry, etc. Of course, I wouldn't go as far as saying no clothes because…

@2020pinktogo More power to you! I'm just hanging around feeling blah today. I need to go for a long walk.
-
@blitzbis I still have not gotten myself a FitBit. I've thought about getting one and how it would motivate me. Then, I think I would probably get obsessed with it. @CaptainBoing My car is the reason I'm thinking of coming out of retirement. I need a new one. I don't have any pets. My mom's dog, though, eats anything and…

@2020pinktogo It just amazes me that crazies have jobs in the first place.

NSVs are what keep us going!
-
Susan & @CaptainBoing Yep, the right mindset will get you where you need to be. I'm not there yet. Cindy, I love mowing the lawn in Texas heat. The sweat just pours off me. After my shower I feel soooo refreshed! Mowing is the best exercise because I feel I've been productive at the same time. Danielle, I never heard of…

@CaptainBoing Well, that's a silver lining, forgetting bad habits. I wish I could forget mine. Today is the first of the month. That's always a good time to refresh and/or restart.
