You could try keeping a little notebook or even just a scrap of paper handy and jot down what you eat, when you eat it, and the amount you eat, and then you could go back in the evening when you have a few quiet moments to yourself and log it all.

Your goal is still set at 1,200 for the day according to this picture, so I'm confused as to what you are asking? As far as the FitBit, all I really use mine for is tracking steps, and then those calories get added into my total daily burn on MFP. I base my calorie goals as far as what to eat on what MyFitnessPal tells me,…

I am not currently, nor have I ever, been breastfeeding. However, one suggestion I would make is to try and include nutrient dense foods that give you a lot of bang for your buck! That way you don't have to eat as much to still reach your calorie and macro goals! For example, all natural peanut butter is a great option to…

Ensure is actually a great option. It's no different than a protein or meal replacement shake, and it only makes people gain weight when it is used as a supplement for weight gain in ADDITION to eating at their maintenance calories. It will not make you gain weight as long as you are still within your calorie goal for the…

- I buy unsweetened Greek yogurt and add in about a tsp. of either maple syrup or organic, raw honey and just a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon! Tastes so good! - Warming Quest bars (or whatever protein bar you eat) up in the microwave for about 7 seconds gives them a great texture and makes it almost like indulging in a warm,…

If you are 5'6" and only 125 pounds, I would hope you are not trying to lose weight, but simply to maintain, as that is a very healthy weight for your height. If you enter this info into MFP, it should tell you how many calories you need, and what amount of each nutrient to aim for. Once you know these numbers, you can try…

The powder Slim Quick is basically just a diet pill in powder form, but with added sugar. Diet pills and aids as those are not a magic pill or a quick fix. They only work because they also tell you to eat at a calorie deficit and work out along with taking the product. When you do those things, the weight would come off…

A serving of greek yogurt with a couple tablespoons of raw, unsalted almonds, an apple with a tablespoon of peanut or almond butter, carrot sticks with hummus, cottage cheese with fresh strawberries, and my favorite snack, a Quest protein bar!

I think it's really just a personal preference. Some people prefer to use the app more as a private way of tracking and some people don't mind others being able to see what they eat. Also, as someone above me mentioned, the diary being private is the default setting so some people simply either aren't aware of that or just…

You should seek out the help of a registered dietician with experience in eating disorders. Eating too much too fast after a period of starvation or malnourishment can lead to refeeding syndrome, which can be life threatening. It would be best to get advice from a professional about how to slowly and steadily gain some…

Get her help, now. The sooner the better. Look for specialists (physician, dietician, and therapist) with in depth training in eating disorders. I fought a 7 year battle with sever anorexia that almost took my life. If my family wouldn't have intervened , I would not be here today. She might kick and scream and fight you,…

They are 0-10 calories at most, but the artificial sweeteners in them are really not great for you. Like anything else, try are find in moderation, just don't over do it.

If there is a barcode on the bakery box, try scanning that with the MFP food bar code scanner. If not, I googled iced sprinkle donut and came up with 290. It's hard to tell from the picture if there's a cream filling or not. If there is, that would increase the calories, fat, sugar etc. I'd say your safe estimate would be…

Diet pills don't work. There's a reason the claims they make seem too good to be true... They are. Most of them are not FDA regulated so god only knows what you are putting into your body. Scary! And if you are pregnant now, it's even more dangerous. You could do irreversible damage to your baby. Focus on getting balanced,…

I put 2 Tbsp. Of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a packet or two of Truvia (any brand of zero calorie all natural stevia sweetener is a good option)

Distraction really helps! If you are tempted to over indulge after you are out of calories for the day, distract yourself! Read, go for a walk, call a friend etc. most cravings WILL go away within a matter of minutes if you get your mind off food

Try to make sure each meal and snack you have include some protein and fiber to help fill you up. An apple with peanut butter is great for a snack that'll keep you full! Also, make sure you are drinking plenty of water throught the day. That'll help fill your stomach up as well and sometimes our body confuses…

The food part is super tricky for me. I love with my boyfriend who loves junk food, so the temptation is always around! Like you said, I find it helps when I go to the gym because I don't wanna ruin all that work I did with unhealthy eating choices. As far as getting excited for the gym, one thing that helps me is packing…

There's an app called FIT radio that I downloaded and I'm obsessed! It's all kinda of upbeat mixes that are perfect for working out, but I listen to it in my car in the mornings to get me pumped up for my day too!

Yes ma'am, I was up a couple pounds today! So frustrating to see, but I know I made really bad choices over the holiday weekend. A lot of that is most likely water weight you are retaining from eating carb heavy meals & Easter candy. Just try to drink a lot of water these next couple days to flush your system out and hit…

Feel free to add me, as well! :)

This is my struggle as well! When my boyfriend is out of the apartment, I just eat and eat and eat and it's affecting my weight loss and progress! Would low to be friends on here and support each other. Feel free to add me :)

I can definitely relate! Please feel free to add me! Would love to support each other in any way possible!

I struggle with extreme hunger and binges and then regaining the weight I lose each week and hating myself for it! Would love for you to add me so we can support each other :)

It's most likely water retention due to the increase in carbs. Carbohydrates tend to hold onto a lot of water. Just keep pushing those fluids and getting in your workouts to sweat some of it out. Try not to worry too much about the scale for a little but until your body regulates and gets rid of the water it's holding…

Wait, I'm confused. You are eating the shells? Or simply cracking them open and eating the pistachios? This is why I never eat anything without knowing the nutrition info first, I have scrambling and trying to figure it out lol. If it is in a package, the nutrition info should be on the back? Or there should be a barcode…

Here are some of my favroites... -Greek yogurt (or regular if you prefer) with 1 Tbsp. granola mixed in - An apple or banana with 1 Tbsp. almond or peanut butter - 2 Rice Cakes topped with 1 Tbsp. peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon - 1/2-1 cup cereal (go for one high in fiber and low in sugar!) with 1 cup almond milk…

The most amazing bars are Quest bars! Most flavors are about 180 calories, so they can be a snack depending on how you distribute your calories the rest of the day! I also use them for breakfasts or lunches on the go. They are super high protein, 23 grams on average, and only 3 g net carbs and 3 g sugar!

Me me meeeee! I've been a vegetarian since the age of 9. Would love to be friends with any fellow veg heads on here :)

Yes, this is normal. I try not to use this as an excuse and stick to my meal plan and calorie goals, but it is more challenging during that time.
