  • I can relate to this so much, except for me it is usually the third day that I can never seem to get past when I'm in a bingeing cycle. It is so annoying. I think that part of it is definitely psychological; we identify a pattern, and then we expect that pattern to continue. I also have a tendency to have extremely…
  • -0.8 this week. I have a strong feeling this bingeing cycle has ended for me, so I'm gonna shoot to lose another pound this week. If it has ended, then it should be easy. When I'm not in a bingeing cycle, I usually still binge once or twice a week so that'll slow me down anyway. I really hope I'm right about this, but I…

  • I did end up bingeing again yesterday but it was the smallest episode I've had in forever. Only 1600 calories, I'll take it! Respectthekitty, I'm sorry you had such a stressful day. I hope that today was better. Also, it awesome that you didn't binge yesterday despite the stress!
  • I did end up having another minor episode that felt like a binge, but I stopped at about 1600 calories so I am extremely happy about that. And it was VERY short, which is unusual. I hope everyone has a good day today! Also Msty, I'm sorry to hear about your day a couple of days ago. That does sound very mentally draining.…
  • Just started bingeing then stopped after only about 750 binge related calories! I seriously think this bingeing cycle may finally be coming to an end.
  • The sad thing I've done this multiple times. I just have never experienced it for myself...until now.
  • Amazing, great work!

  • I feel your pain. A couple of weeks ago, I had an amazing week where I vines only one day. The following week I binged every day. It's so hard to find balance. You exercise so much. Have you considered upping your calorie goal significantly (even if it seems outrageous?) I'm pretty sedentary right now and I met with a…
  • I know exactly how you feel, and it's an awful feeling. I'm sorry that you feel like there's been a set back. I definitely feel like trying to lose weight makes bingeing so much worse, at least for me. But I can't seem to break out of that mindset or just accept myself for how I am, even if it's only temporary.

  • I had started a post on the main forum months ago called "binge eaters needing support" and tons of people responded. Then someone sent me a private message telling me about this group. Or maybe they posted it on there? Can't remember exactly, but I know it came from that initial post I made.
  • TMI: I am definitely not invincible. I am shocked that eight small pieces could have such an immediate effect. I do not have a sensitive stomach and I have a history of intense laxative abuse as well (not anymore). Well apparently 56 grams of sugar free Hershey's can do more damage than a whole box of ex lax. On the…
  • Is your little one okay now? That's nice of you to give your wife a break. The store was selling bags of twelve SUGARFREE chocolates for 99 cents. I bought them, and just ate eight (my husband ate the others). I cannot believe this...my stomach is getting all rumbly and stuff. I've heard this SO MANY TIMES about sugar free…
  • Love the pictures, you are officially a real person!
  • No desire to binge is a huge deal, that's the most important thing! With that will come weight loss anyway. Tuesday's are a day in which I almost always binge. I'm already feeling stressed and didn't plan my meals well. I made it a point to eat a bigger breakfast than usual to hopefully get me through the day for longer so…
  • I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling skeptical. I REALLY hope that it works for you. To me this session sounds more like it may have been an intake assessment though? They usually have at least one of those eith every person you speak with (so redundant!) before things get going. But like sloth said, different styles…

  • I'm so glad to hear you're encouraged, if it's helping with bingeing then it's definitely worth a shot! I fell asleep around 11:30 last night and have been up since 2 AM. It's now 5:10, and I have to get up in an hour or hour and a half. I have two important meetings that I always dread on Mondays because I HATE public…
  • Woohoo that's fantastic! And it's definitely not time wasted. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the words of encouragement and support!

  • That's right, let us know how it goes! I'm really happy for you, I think it's a smart move. So funny and unfortunate about the gummies!
  • Hahahahha
  • I'm all over the message boards today, and I'm pretty sure I never took the time to formally introduce myself. So a little about me: My name is Anna, I am 28 years old and currently getting my Master's in Public Health. I was raised in Portland, OR but am in NY for school. I am recently married, and wrapping up my degree…
  • I forgot to mention that the chocolate I had was sugar free so I thought of you!
  • I am feeling bingey again today. I should have known. I decided to skip the gym, which is always a terrible idea. These days because of my schedule I am only able to go for three days, if even that. And I have always been religious about gym time, until recently. I'm just feeling so discouraged. On days that I don't work…
  • I should also mention a lot of people say they feel full or really satisfied on LCHF, and I didn't. I don't ever get full. So I think that may have been part of my problem, is I just seem to have a disconnect as far as hunger cues go. Since it sounds like you've found it satisfying, then it's definitely a better solution…
  • I'm glad it's working so well for you! I had a different experience, but I feel like it really depends on the person. Prior to trying LCHF, I NEVER ate fat. I never cooked with oil, never ate cheese, avocado, etc. Of course when I binged sometimes there was more fat involved, but it was usually higher carb binges (still…
  • Wow that's amazing, congrats!

  • Yep, me too. It's never good enough, unfortunately. At this point I feel like I just want to be comfortable, and I think a big part of that is just not fluctuating so dramatically ALL THE TIME. During the course of my MPH program (a year and a half), bounced around within a thirty pound weight range. It's ridiculous.

  • A long time ago I read Amazon reviews for sugar free gummy bears and they are hilarious and horrific. It's one diarrhea story after another.
  • Hahhahah "violent effects....." That is so unfortunate. Not funny but your use of language is amazing.
