Swimming is a good workout. My SO runs marathons and bikes up mountains and he found the same thing as you did. Technique and breathing are key. Kudos to taking on a new challenge.

And here I sit.

An airport bromance.

Merry Christmas

I confess that I find the conversation of the two loud men who are strangers to each other insufferable. At least talk quietly.

Mel, were we separated at birth? Fraternal twins?

I was heading back to my hotel room after a long day at a weeklong conference and saw you approach the elevator as the door was closing. I took pity on you and pressed the door open button. You repaid me by being overly flirty for all 21 floors, despite my clear disinterest until I could exit. I put down my computer in my…

I would not call $16 an hour crazy expensive. I have paid more than $50 an hour occasionally. I have seen it cost more too.

I half way agree and half way don't. I am thinking of a whole crowd of older gents who come to play racquetball, get on the stationary bike with their newspaper or to watch a game. Their beer belly stays the same, but hey, they are getting in some cardio and burning some calories... so better than nothing?

Tomorrow afternoon

Yum.

Thank you @kellyjellybellyjelly. I am better than yesterday.

I confess that I came right home and put on my pjs. I will head to bed soon. I will eat something but nothing sounds good. So ends 4/367 until marathon.

My purse is six inches by four inches by about three inches. Keys. Phone and charger. Cards and sometimes cash. Minimalist.

Like an Arabian horse!? Or a horse carved from a native tree? Is frankincense too rare?

Thank you!!

Day 3 /367 to marathon- went to bed early with a bad cold. Again. I confess I am supposedly running a meeting in a few hours. I put one of my employees in charge today instead.

I must live in a bubble. First time I ever saw/heard of Elf on a Shelf was in Target last year. I have to say, I thought it was a bit creepy. Not as Creepy as this picture though.

Have fun at the birthday celebration!

I think your hair is a very pretty color and have since your first pictures here. I think my long hair bothers me most rolling over in bed or when I am driving and it gets caught behind my back so that when I make a movement with my head I pull my hair. I do know that the in-between length drives me nuts. It has to be jaw…

Confession, day 2 of 369 days until my marathon, I did nothing. I went to bed early with a cold and didn't work out at all. I did take copious amounts of zinc (thinking of Kelly). ETA - I did tell daughter about my goal and that I plan to lose about 10 pounds to do so. She said, my doctor would kill me if I lost 10 pounds.…

Thanks! I think it looks pretty and healthy but I think a little bit shorter looks a little bit better on me. It is so very fine and straight that it looks a little more lush a little shorter because I do have a bit of layering added in for movement. If I change my mind I can grow it back out and I am leaving it pretty…

De nada. You are welcome. I enjoyed the chuckle.

I realized we are not "friends" officially. How did that not already happen? Invite sent. Eta. I am thinking of taking it from waist to center of the back. I think yours is curly right? Mine is stubbornly straight.
-
That made me laugh. You have fun and get bonus points for being a great dad.
-
I love my waist length hair but I just made an appointment to get about six inches cut off. Torn thoughts

Yet I am not getting him anything romantic but things I know he will like that show I know him well and thought about it.
-
I like practical gifts too but I want romantic right now.

He brought it up out of the blue last night. I will be out of town for your birthday but you pick whatever restaurant you want for your birthday dinner the evening I am back.

Good night long lost sis. bed time for me.
