Uh huh. All this plus any other meals and no working out at all, sitting behind a desk all day and totally healthy.

I am so curious what you would eat to get 2200 calories by 9 am. I'm not even being snarky, I just wonder what that would be....
-
Maybe the majority of his calories come from the crap he's full of! :D
-
Yep, pre-log so I know where I have some give if I want treats! And it helps me balance out my days so I can eat more of what I'm missing nutrient-wise.
-
Totally! :D I did that once, with white, thankfully. My sofa reeked!

Sorry if any responses hit you hard. :( Just take the meat and leave the bones is what I say! Meaning take the good advice and leave the bad or what doesn't motivate you. Sometimes what we type doesn't come out the right way. So. Yes, dinner is hard for me, too. Actually all meals are unless I plan, plan, plan! If I don't…

That sounds yummy if you care to share!

mmmmmmm avocado toast...... Yep, I like them as long as they are in the perfect window of ripeness otherwise they have a very yucky musty taste to me. May just be me, though, bc my husband never notices it. Guacamole, topping for any Mexican food, and yes, avocado toast is a staple b'fast or lunch for me with sriracha and…

I have it terribly as well and in a bout of it myself now. My husband hears me lament "Ow my butt hurts!" often. :D Agree with the above folks who say keep moving, stretch and see a chiropractor. I do a lot of these: https://www.healthline.com/health/back-pain/sciatic-stretches#overview1

How about a "Validate My Looks Please" button?

I'd like to know who likes my posts to know who "gets" me so I can "bond" with folks and know who might like to be friends. Agree with lots of the button needs that have been suggested.... :D

Agree. Don't beat yourself up and set some realistic goals. I don't know how much you drink but just scale back if you can. For me, too, it is about "less." I just happen to be 13 days without so far. My goal is to get to Thanksgiving. I just need to put some space between me and wine. It isn't all booze I have problems…

Heck, my own kids!

I wish I could click Awesome on this more than once.

irregardless, supposebly *shivers* another grammar one that gets me is when people say "I could care less..." sooooooo....you could actually care a little bit less? You haven't reached your maximum level of indifference? I once had a college Literature professor accuse me of making up the word "behemoth" when I used it in…

Don't want to derail this thread, but if anyone has good trainer/plan suggestions, I'm all ears. Can PM me. I've been sort of following the booty one that is always recommended for women (can't recall the name offhand because I'm old and senile) at home but would love some arm, back and shoulder ones for the gym. TIA

Been taking Duke out almost every day. Had a great walk/run with him yesterday, despite the crappy weather. He's getting accustomed to going every day. He's a biiiiig boy and needs it, too. Hope y'all are enjoying getting out there with your pups!

Thanks so much. The support really goes a long way! Knowing I was going to come here to give an update, knowing I have accountability partners IRL, my hubby supporting me....it really helps. I haven't really seen a huge difference in the scale. But I've also been focusing on strength training and weights, so I tell myself…

Good Monday morning all! 12 days alcohol free! Super, super proud of myself! Went the party Saturday night. Had one mini Coke and Lime LaCroix the rest of the night. :) Y'all. I can't tell you what a huge deal this is for me. I'm probably a borderline functioning alcoholic, so a social situation without any alcohol is…

I usually *am* the newbie....and am nervous I look like a newbie. And I see women with their "routine" without papers or a phone plan and I wonder how to get to that point rather than feeling like I'm wandering around aimlessly. But when I do see someone who looks new to fitness or wellness, I think, "Way to go! Don't feel…

Can't fool with YT or Vevo links.... but "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons. All. Day. Long.

I'd love to participate! My Duke is a bit on the chubby side like his mama and needs this! Can't promise we'll run every day, but we'll pop in! Here's my handsome boy! <3

Screw the woo. I use it to mean I think what a poster said is funny. Woo be damned. And I love lavender. Especially the aura cacia lavender bath minerals. Sooooooo nice to soak in.

Where does one find such a marvel?! Must try! Holy resurrected post, Batman! Didn't realize this post was from 2014! Sheesh. My item: Coconut Coffee....anyone try this?

I'll leave the other posters that have been here longer and are more knowledgeable to weigh in with more scientific and helpful information, but I have noticed a new trend in fitness is people (women mainly) dumping the cardio in favor of weights. *shrugs* I personally try to do 3 days of weight/strength and 2cardio days…

Same here. The habits and rituals are what make it hard! I find if I can make it past dinner, I'm good. I go for chai or cinnamon tea after, while I watch sappy chick flicks, especially now that it is feeling like fall! I've recently found some yummy flavored sparkling water at Target. Their Simply Made brand has some good…
