I think for now I'll keep doing what I'm doing, which is a mix, but up the strength a bit. I've fallen victim to the "all cardio, all the time" myth of weight loss. I'm certainly not interested in bulking or taking in more calories, but might add a bit more protein here and there. Thanks!

did you have to find lost woobies?

Thanks! This is really what I'm getting at....

I'd like to SAH but it is not in the financial cards for us unless we move and I don't think that is an option for us right now. It is probably for the best because I tend to not be very disciplined with lots of time on my hands! I don't mind working and I like the extra $. I'm lucky in that all of my jobs have been great…

The house is mostly my domain. I'm the one who gets stressed with too much surface clutter but he's the one who will vacuum the baseboards and blinds and clean every crevice. But only once a year! :) I just do what can be seen! We both work and I shoulder most of the day-to-day stuff, but he'll do anything I ask. He just…

My go-to smoothie is a banana, 1/2 cup oatmeal, handful of kale, 1 tbl natural pb and 8 oz almond milk. I put the oats and kale in the blender the night before to save a minute or two. High calorie, but usually will take me all the way through lunch. Then I'll just have a mid-day or early afternoon snack.

Wow. Bringing back a thread from 10 years ago! But hey, still good info! I recently discovered that most packaged chicken breast is CRAZY high in sodium. Turns out companies inject them with salt water to preserve and to make them look fuller. People value breasts for their lean protein, but the sodium levels are nuts.

Yep. Love the spicy black bean burgers. And my kids prefer the Chik'N Nuggets and Chik'N patties over real chicken.

Wow! I think you look great!! I don't see much of a pooch, either, but agree that posture might help. Rock being cocky! You've earned it!!! Other than that...reverse crunches?

What time should I arrive? :) GO FALCONS!

Thanks! MFP is using my Apple Health Kit for activity tracking. MFP only takes into account any workout I do. My calorie goal is to lose weight--a lb a week, with the goal to lose about 10 lbs. It isn't so much the number on the scale that I want to change, because my current weight is fine for my frame, but I want to burn…

Feel free to add me! I'm determined to make 2017 rock! It is a big year for me--turning 44, 20th wedding anniversary, my oldest kid turns 13....! And I want to be fit and healthy to tackle it all!

Oh my goodness--have you tried the new Godiva Dark Chocolate Sea Salt?!? It is to die for!!!

Here for this! I refuse to give up my wine and chocolate. And fries. And pizza. But I *do* try to limit to once a week for treats like these. Well, not the wine and chocolate. Those are almost daily essentials to ensure the safety of those around me....

Bump for any new folks who might be in our boat!!

Good morning ladies! Giving myself a pep talk this AM because I crashed and burned last night! Too many helpings of dinner and too much Sav Blanc for a regular old Wednesday! I mix it with La Croix to lighten it up, but still...TOO MUCH! :D Back on track today. Had heavier than normal, higher calorie than normal breakfast…

Hi Diana! Well, the good news is you know you can do it, because you've done it before! Congrats on that! I think your plan sounds like a good plan for any of us! Good Luck! I've found that planning my weeks' meals and fitness routines for the whole week on Sundays works great for me! I'm prone to giving into cravings and…
