I'm looking to lose 50 pounds. I had lost 65 a bit over a year ago - and gained back 10. I stopped tracking and paying attention - partly because I became bored. After several months, weight loss slows. And, eventually mine came to a stop. But, I'm starting again - and I feel pretty confident that I can do 50 more pounds.

Hi Matt - I hate plateaus. They are so discouraging. Good idea to try to change things around. I found that having a weight loss / fitness community really helps keep things interesting.

Since I'm back on weight loss mode, I weigh myself every day - at least twice - morning, night. For me, it's the only way to stay accountable to myself - otherwise, I start wondering what my weight is, and obsessing about it.

I found that I lost the most weight when I was being obsessive about the numbers. I am trying to be obsessive again! I found that after 5 or 6 months, my weight loss slowed to nothing. I had the vegetarian Bean Bolognese. It comes in a pouch. It was simple to microwave. However, I did not care for it as is. I had to add spicy ketchup to it! I track my food on fitbit only. I was logging my weight on NS for the bears. But, I realized that I don't care about getting them anymore. I don't even know where they are. My daughter takes them and hides them. LOL.

I got my flex back in September. If I were to choose one today, I'd get the Charge HR. They didn't have those in Sept. I think the flex's clasp is a pain.
