Great job all!

Will be praying for your family. It's amazing how fast people recover nowadays from open heart surgery. Swat and I have been there twice with my Mother-In-Law and Dad.

My mistake. I meant to put this on the motivational page. Sill works I guess.

This one's for Swati (a huge Star Wars Fan):

P- You deserve all the credit. I've seen a lot of results but I do not remember any woman so far along in their program that lost that much in one week. You are definitely going to motivate a bunch of others - including me! My P90x3 rest week is over so we are back to weight lifting and resistance training and the weight…

That's incredible! I noticed a lot of members putting us some big numbers this week but nowhere near the Fast 5 type numbers you just put up. Can I get partial credit for sparking that competitive nature? B) Seriously though, I am really happy for you! Congrats! -Michael PS: I am actually planning on getting a little…

Wow, that's one heck of a week! Congrats!

You are so not alone. I am a pretty private person and this is my first foray into the world of social media. I share as much as I do so others will not feel like they are alone. The more I learn about others, the more I root and pray for them to succeed. I really liked the blogs on NS but I truly believe the group we have…

Hi Suzi, You had a bad day and now it's over. I remember my wife struggling at the beginning of the program and who was there to help her through? You were! You make everybody feel welcome from day one and are a shining star whether it be on the NS or MFP websites. So dust yourself off, drink some water, throw in a little…

I usually just log from the time I woke up to the time I go to bed.
-
Agreed - especially because I am expecting too.

As someone who has gone off the grid twice in the last 10 weeks (one planned and one unplanned), I would also suggest you increase your water intake to flush out that sodium. Good luck on Friday!

It's awesome to see so many of you moving in the right direction and so many hitting some big milestones! As for me, I am down exactly one pound since last week's weigh-in. I definitely ate (and drank) more this week than I have in previous weeks but also increased the amount of exercise I've been getting. I am going to…

A little pic from our hike today. This was one of the few flat portions of the trail and one of the few with boards to walk on. You will see a flight of stairs at the end of the boardwalk. Wound up doing about 4 miles in 67 minutes and Swati's Fitbit said we climbed the equivalent of 30+ flights of stairs! Not too bad for…

Busy day today. Just finished packing orders for the business and am headed out to coach a baseball game. After that, heading to the woods for a 4 mile hike. Then going out with a bunch of friends for a little fun and dancing later tonight.
-
Way to get through that plateau! Just curious - Did you do anything different this week?
-
That wasn't my post but I think you will be safe this week. After a wonderful night with my wife on Sunday, I have finally gotten back to where I was on Sunday Morning. As far as the other side of 40, I will definitely stop, look back, and root you on. B)

I am was so not a morning person. I work from home and used to get up around 10:30am each day. Swati and I made a commitment to work out every morning at 7am. We only workout for 1/2 hour and we are definitely ready to eat afterwards. I know you are doing this with your husband so maybe working out together in the morning…

Hey P - You're not trying to back out of our little competition are you? ;) Seriously though, you should not be obsessed with the scale. Whenever I think of the most important benefit of NS and working out, it is not the pounds I've lost. It's the fact that my blood pressure has reached normal levels. Will that be replaced…

Thanks all. I just feel like I've been in a funk for a few days and want to get back to basics. It's probably just from going off program on Sunday but I really need to snap out of it.

That's funny - My 16-year-old is currently 5'9" and growing quickly. He is up to 112 lbs (he just broke through 100 lbs in the last year). He eats 3000+ calories a day but simply doesn't put on weight. He is very active and athletic and pretty strong for a kid his size. We used to worry about him but the doctors say he is…

According to LiveStrong: Laughing burns calories by causing your heart rate to rise by 10 to 20 percent. As your heart rate rises, your metabolism increases as well, which means you'll continue to burn calories once you stop laughing. Thank you ladies for helping to contribute to my weight loss.

I would definitely be a lot thinner with a Red Sox hat on because the only way that happens is if I am dead. B)

Thanks a lot Morgan - now the front of my speedo is all wet!
-
TMI? I'm not sure I would have released that (no pun intended). :)

Funny how those milestones always seem to make us wait another week. 29 lbs is significant - Congrats! I also saw the MommaBear joined us yesterday and we're wishing her the best of success as well.

Hello Charlie, I am blessed that you have come into my life. Looking back, God has consistently been trying to get me to hear His message. Whether it be through my barber, my family, friends or others, His message was there but I was not ready to listen. Although I grew up Catholic, my actions as an adult were not very…

Glad to see you made it over.
