Wow! Melanie, your dinner sounds so good. I must look that up. Do you have a favourite recipe? Surely it is as healthy as the boring apples, almonds, flax seed, oat meal/bran, soy, beans, psyllium ~ all of which, for some odd reason, I love. Also 60 minutes cooking translates to 3,660 steps.…

@pacsnc6 Happy Belated Birthday, Patsy! Hope you had fun celebrating with your daughter.
-
I love egg roll in a bowl too.
-
Fingers crossed. Hugs.

Linda, I think practice may come into this. (See @kiane50 's post above.) You can get your pacing worked out with practice, I'm sure of it. Also, a good sleep every night will probably go a long way. Whatever you decide, I support you. You know what's right for you. Big hug.

Whoa! Marcy, you're from Toronto!?! That's amazing. Lisa @Cafelelia and I are from Toronto. You can do it!
-
Big hugs. Don't let the preschoolers shame you, Tracy. You've got a lot more going on. LOL.
-
I'm thinking of you and hoping for a good scan next week and great news, Patsy. In time you'll be able to tackle the weight and will have the fortitude to do it too.
-
Awe, Debbie. I just teared up. Mollie is a love ~ beautiful and soulful.

I love the thought about practice. Of course, you are a musician. Valuable advice. Practice, practice, practice. Thank you for that reminder. The rest is just pure inspiration.

Is that a fox or a cat?

She's happy...and your slipper is very cute.

@KUMEcyclingteam As a Canadian, I think tip one doesn't apply. We have Timbits. Have you ridden your bike to Canada? If not, when you they open the borders again, please do. You can fuel up on the centre (note the Canadian spelling) of the donuts here. Luckily, my dog is not fat. But, he likes beer. Again, he's Canadian.…

For everyone who's new, and those of us who are often confused (like me), here's a bit of a cheat sheet: * October here is four weeks long. Running Sunday to Saturday, until October 31st. That's unusual because sometimes a calendar month runs over into the next month. Like September. It ran until October 3rd. * Don't try…

@kandi3570 Great intro! You've been an inspiration in your first month with us. One thing I have found that helped me with plateaus is to eat higher calories and higher carbs a couple of days a week. Not too much, mind you. I steal calories from other days and 'eat up.' I believe though I'm not a scientist like you, that…

I totally understand. You do this your way and don’t take things on that you haven’t planned for, Daniele. We don’t want this to be overwhelming, we’re here to support the healthy choices you make. Have a great night!

Wow! That is beautiful. The cat is majestic and the paw prints are so realistic. I have my late cats' paw prints done in clay. Not a tattoo on me. Yet.
-
Well, bread is a Covid comfort food, Debbie. You have the rest of the month to lose it and I'll bet it only takes a day or two. Hugs to you, my friend.
-
That would be great. Thanks so much, Beka! Sorry about the trouble.

@Beka3695 and @jugar Ashley @minstrelofsarcasm and I were talking and wondered if it's possible to have a column on the spreadsheet for LTD. I'm concerned we're missing milestones for celebration and we think this would help. Perhaps there's a way to just have it in or near the Finale columns (U and V) as a function of the…

@Beka3695 Hi Beka, Ugh...I missed a member of TWNM who needs to be celebrated. It's Steph @ mainebeachbum who has lost and kept off 30+ lbs. I feel terrible. I think it's too late for you to edit your post too. Please let me know what can be done.

Daniele, We have a step challenge and it is voluntary. If you would like to be included, please let us know and we'll add you to the challenge. Some people post their steps each day and others provide the details all in one go on Saturday or Sunday for the week. Some really successful people are up in the 20,000 steps/day…

On that note... Our Step Challenge Winners! We have a big winning team this week. October is a great month for increasing your steps. The champion is: Debbie @debbiewsharpe 123,813 steps Over 10,000 Average Steps a Day: Bob @KUMEcyclingteam 83,556 steps Tracy @ljdanny 82,599 steps Theresa @1theresamcvean 77,540 steps Mary…

@debbiewsharpe and @jugar I should be here soon. My goal weight is 142 (toned) and I'm 4.4 lbs away from that. My range will be from 137 to 147, so I'm in range but likely to declare it officially when I make it at or close to the bottom of the range. We should think of some ideas to get this page more active. Do we make…

No, she’s not. She took a leave when she went back to teaching high school during Covid.

Way to go, Melz. What a beautiful sky!
-
Great approach, Steph! I took a peek at your diary and loved your brunch.
-
Hey Cassie, You are going to do great!
-
Hi Liselyn @jugar ~ Can you put Casey @ Gingerpwr back on weight loss with a weigh day of Sunday and a starting weight of 139, please.
-
@Beka3695 Another celebration, if going under 175 is a thing, Hope002 got to and stayed under 175 in September.
