Thanks @arditarose and @AsISmile ... I was told, by a couple of guys (should have been my first clue) on another thread that the only way to reduce body fat was to lose weight... I told them I thought I had lost enough...but then one of them chimed in you could go down to 98 pounds and still be at a normal BMI. 98 pounds?!…

I think it's just because this thread is so long, have only made it thru half of it, and there seems to be conflicting info. I am 106.2 (as of today) 5'1". I don't want to "gain" weight but do want to lean out the little bit of fat I have left lingering/tighten my stomach, butt, and thighs. I think the general consensus is…

The more I read this thread the more stupid I feel... is there a "Recomp For Dummies" edition? LOL!
-
Congrats! I just had a whoosh too... woke up to it: 3.4 pounds down (but really only a .4 drop from my lowest weight)! This after a 12 day stall. I hate the stall part, but the whoosh makes up for it! Hang in there everyone! :)
-
I just realized... for my edited comment to make any impact I should mention I'm only halfway through my day (and already almost at the same amount of steps I was yesterday at day end)....I forget we aren't all in the same country/time zone!!

I have the S6 and, like @DavPul said, you wont always have your phone on you. As a woman I don't always have pockets or deep pockets so I don't always have a place to put my phone...a lot of times I have to carry it or place it in my bra (LOL). As an S6 owner you know those phones are big, so in my bra is VERY cumbersome…

Dealing w/ a "stall"/"weight gain" right now...despite doing everything right (100% sure)! Hang in there... I know it's hard but don't let it deter you... I'm waiting for my "whoosh", even had a dream about it last night and was really excited to step on the scale this morning, but nothing... ::sigh::
-
I see what you did there... LOL! :D
-
Oh great.. I killed another thread... Hahahahahahahaha!!!
-
@DeguelloTex At first I thought the OP was you, the profile picture threw me off at first glance... but I know better than to think you would ask that type of question! LOL

I prefer real sugar but since I don't have a lot of room for calories, I use the no calorie sweeteners. I say if you have room, use the real stuff... but if not, the sweeteners are fine. FYI - I drink coffee every day, sometimes 2 times a day, and occasionally a cup of tea...
-
BTW - I used to get sick when I drank but I read that if you drink lots of water right before going to sleep you wake up fine, or at least a lot better than you would have felt if you hadn't drank water. I do this now, every time, and I never wake up sick anymore. Plus you're less dehydrated the next day.
-
Hahahaha! I just contradicted myself w/ my agreements... Let my clarify! I will not drink frequently because of the desire to eat more than drink, BUT if I feel like drinking I will occasionally do so, skipping the appetizer or dessert in order to do so. If I get advanced notice of going out , I will exercise that day in…

And this!!

THIS!!! I do miss it sometimes, enough to forgo food in order to fit it in...

@jenmckane86 RIGHT?!?!

Went back and read some more, and all her reviews are pretty much bad! So glad I just followed her and didn't buy into one of her plans! I feel sorry for the people who do!
-
OMG I was looing at the comments/reviews on her page and saw this one: "I purchased her plan and it was horrible! I asked for a dairy free plan and she sold me on protein bars that were not dairy free. She just replied with “get another bar then”. I was at 1100 calories also and I’m 5’10!!! I got so sick and it was…
-
@lemurcat12 Oh, thanks for that! Interesting info. But yeah, she killed it for me w/ her comment. I'm done! I'm sure she wont miss me though...
-
Oh wow! I forgot about cheese! I eat cheese too! Especially when it comes on pizza! ;)
-
I found that comment annoying enough to be come uninspired by her, so...unfollow. I get annoyed easily though, hahahahahaha! Don't ever get on my bad side, I will hold a grudge like you wouldn't believe. :s
-
Yeah, I was going to stop following her but I wanted to give her a chance. I thought I'd ask you all, my MFP Peeps, in case I was making a harsh judgement. But so far we are all on the same page!
-
I considered it and I decided "NO"... hahahahahaha! I responded w/ "Well, other than my greek yogurt and the occasional ice cream...I don't consume much dairy, so I think I'm good...but thank you". Short and sweet. But even if I did eat more of it, I still wouldn't give it up because she says so. I just don't eat much of…
-
@debsdoingthis RIGHT?! Seriously I thought she was legit... now I don't want to follow her! Honestly I don't even consume much dairy. I drink Almond Milk (maybe once a week) and eat Greek Yogurt (approximately 3 times a week) and the occasional ice cream treat, but the fact that she's telling me to give something up, after…

I'm dealing w/ this now (I'm currently on my 3rd day). I jumped up 7 pounds and have since lost 4-5 of them. I have been holding on to 2-3 pounds since last Monday and I have been in a deficit either through eating, exercise, or in most cases both every day....so logically it can't be fat gain, but dammit it sucks to see…
-
No...should be here on Monday though! :)
-
+2...

Another thing I noticed... the amount of "total" calories on my food diary page will be off a little when compared to the total calories for that day as listed on my News Feed Page. For example, right now, my food diary for the day says I have eaten: 776cals but my newsfeed total say 774. Not a big deal, but I wonder why?
-
I know what you mean! I think it's because we, for the most part, never paid attention to our bodies before and now we are constantly working on it and thinking about it and everything we do to it. And perhaps you're like I am, thinking that everything I'm doing/have done to it should show me more progress than it has! Not…

I have the same problems w/ my macros percentages some times... Sometimes my total of all 3 (Carbs, Protein, and Fat) will be 99% or 101% I have never noticed it in my food diary though... And, yes, thankfully it round sup, not down, or we all may be eating more than we think!
