Today is not quite as busy as yesterday, thank goodness. Off the areiel yoga and then plant shopping and lunch with my mom. Hoping to get the yard mowed today as it is growing like a weed. Hubby is off on a business adventure and won't be home till about 11pm so I am skipping cooking dinner - leftovers it is. Hope everyone…

Well it sounds like everyone had a great weekend. Fitbit replaced my Aria scale last week and I finally got it set up. I gain an extra pound lost and will happily take it :p. I have already had my trainer and hit the elliptical for 30 minutes then headed to the dollar store for graduation party decorations and the grocery…

Good morning everyone. I am getting very frustrated with my scale but I need to be patient. My calories have been in line and I have been working my *ss off at the gym/house/yard and the scale moves but up and down the same 2 pounds. I am about to pull my hair out. My husband had finally decided to get serious about losing…

Got some gardening done, yea!! Shy - glad you are feeling better. Hopefully the pounds will stay off, lol. @health_guard - great choice!!

We had a great Mothers Day in western New York, was a little chilly with some rain...nothing changes. Had a great brunch with my family and then hit the mall for some errands (and to walk off the brunch). We were actually able to make the pups for a short walk in the afternoon between the drops. Today we I have trainer and…

Hit the gym, cleaned the house, "played" some tennis with hubby...tonight's prom. Have a great weekend people.

Well, the cleanse is over and I am jonesing for my donut. My son is stopping to get me one after the gym. Had yoga this morning and then day two of painting and putting up new baseboard trim. Tonight we are heading down to my father in laws for our monthly dinner. It is about a 2 1/2 hour trip on way for a 2 hour dinner…

Shy - we seem to be on the same chore list this week. I just got done mowing, weeding and working on my edging. I loved it Gillian - we are all allowed those days, just enjoy them and get right back on. Hope you had some cake too!

I totally hear you Rachel on when you go off plan how you just don't feel good anymore. I am sure I will feel that way tomorrow after my donut, LOL. Goodluck and rock the kick boxing. That is something I don't think I could keep up with. @MFPJVAL - the weekends used to be more of a struggle when I just started my journey.…

Good morning all. I hope everyone is having a great day. I think I sent a friend request to all the newbies but if I missed anyone please feel free to send me one. I have one more day on the cleanse after today and then I am heading straight to a glazed donut, lol. Smile on all... @Tweaking_Time - welcome, hopefully your…

Have you guys read the thread What's your most recent NSV under Success Stories. It is one of my favorites.

Great job Dana. Just think of how many calories you burned while getting something accomplished. I love when that happens.

Well, we had a nice weekend but the weather still sucks. I sometimes hate the loopback on Facebook as this morning all my pictures are so sunny and nice, today is raining and cold - AGAIN. We had a fund raiser on Saturday so I got to get all dressed up which does not happen often and actually had a glass of wine, totally…

I had a Fitbit force and moved to an Apple Watch. I am an apple lover and love everything my watch does see pebble4321 but I miss the dashboard the Fitbit had and the step challenges with friends. While the watch will count steps and you can purchase a second part app to move your steps to the Fitbit app it is not the same…

I yoga and have been "attempting" aerial hammock since last summer. I love it. Weight lifting, not so much but I work out with a PT 3 times a week, lol. Feel free to add me.

Happy scale

@MFPJVAL ... I had a heart rate monitor I wore when I worked out to track my calories in the beginning. I now sometimes wear it and sometimes not. I would use circuit training under cardio to track but from my benchmarks that was about 15 to 25% high on me. I am 5" 5' 156lb or so to give you a comparison. I track my…

@karina0679 First week Shmirst week - take it and run. Congrats. Every point counts and gets you to your goal. @47Jacqueline - Goodluck this weekend, I will pray for good weather. I walked the Avon 39 last year and we basically circled Manhattan in October. It was so cold but I got to see parts of the city I had never seen…

Well my yoga teacher told me no more chaturanga until the shoulder are better and gave me some alternate moves so yea. I was able to do most of class so I was still happy. Day five of the cleanse and going strong. Tomorrow is going to stink as we have a charity dinner to go to. I hear it is REALLY long which is going to be…

Well we are on day 4 of the cleanse. I have pretty much been off sugar for a few months but when I can't have it I WANT IT. It is going to a really long 6 days. All is going well here. I am taking a few days off from the gym, with all the painting I have been doing, adding rowing to my program and attempting to improve my…

@jkhoffe - Great job

@karina0679 - you just have to take it one day at a time. I find when I am starting to stray I hit the boards for motivation. And log everything before you eat it. It makes a hugh difference for me. Maybe start with changing one thing. Stop drinking soda, add more veggies, stop eating out; even one of these will make a…

Gillian - try a C25K app. I used one last summer and thought they were great. It gets you going at a nice slow progression. If you look around some of the apps are 5 weeks to a 5K and others are 8 weeks so you choose.

Welcome newbies. Feel free to add me if you like. Well my fun meal got me 2 pounds but I am sure it is mostly salt as I downed a number of salt and pepper potato chips as well - well worth it. I was very surprised when I measured myself this morning. I have lost about 4 pounds in the past month, not complaining, but slow.…

Well where is everyone this weekend?? Hope everyone had, is having a good one. I had a food day off. Tomorrow the hubs and I start our cleanse I was going to enjoy the day and the next 10 are totally clean eating with limited complex carbs and limited dairy. Fun times for sure. It is a good thing I love fruits and…

I totally agree with calories in and calories out but you can not tell me my body did not firm up with the help of yoga. My whole body changed like it never did before when I had lost weight in the past. I would say I was practicing about three times a week for 4 months before I noticed a big difference, I am a vinyasa…

Laura - I have used it on an off for years. It is a good one.

I started my journey with yoga due to other health issues and there was a tremendous change. As I have incorporated other fitness I have continued and increased the intensity of my yoga and TOTALLY believe it is the main reason my body has changed its ratios. As an added bonus, it is the one exercise I truly love until I…

@ngolden3320 good luck with your mom. That is always scary for sure. Hit the gym hard. It helps.
