@nonoelmo I keep getting distracted by worky things before I can tell you I'm thinking of you and hoping for the very best for your son. It sounds like your SO is being supportive and understanding - yay!

@orangesmartie +1 I'm thinking of you and hoping for the best outcome for your physical/emotional health. Great job with the trainer! We'll be here when you're feeling more steady and we've got your back. No matter what, just keep getting up in the morning and taking care of yourself the best way you can. Whether that's…

My old co-workers actually DID throw me a puppy shower! It was fantastic. I was SO excited about getting my puppy that I talked about it for MONTHS. My boss made some excuse to pull me into a conference room (I thought I was in trouble and was super nervous), but when we got there, everyone said "Surprise!!!" It was a…

Me, TOO! This was beautifully said, Patricia. You are one of the most honestly compassionate and inspirational people I "know" and I am truly grateful for this thread. I get excited to see what happened in here over the weekends when I'm not on the computer much - everybody's victories and successes and the support given…

@pofoster21 I'm behind and checking in from page 1360 & 1361 - LOVED the pics of your 1/2 marathon! And congrats on your NSV - you DO look petite! You are quite an inspiration here! I wish I liked running - you make it sound just so darned enjoyable. Maybe I will give it another chance once I get down to near my…

General question: do you prefer working out in the morning or in the evening? Or does it matter to you? I find I have a much harder time motivating myself to work out in the evenings, after my regular work day. I'm taking the "evening workout slot" though because my husband really wants the morning time (we use a…

@kelly_c_77 I'm not sure off the top of my head, but will check when I get home and PM you. I have to sit on there tonight, so I'll have PLENTY of time to get you this info.
-
@KylerJaye Yay! I'm so glad things with the new guy (BF??) are going so well!! I'm so happy for you both to have found each other!

I cried, too! Great, great show. The last episode was beautiful and heart-wrenching and well done. Best ending that series could've had, IMHO. Gilmore Girls starts off soooooo slow. I have been unable to get into it - though if I COULD, I'd be set for months for something to watch while on the exercise bike. (Exercise bike…

@kecmw25 Oh yay! I'm not alone in this. I REALLY loved Parenthood and am very much loving Friday Night Lights. I don't know what I'll do when I'm done with FNL, though. Recommendations of other such quality shows on Netflix?
-
@MoHousdon Hahaha! Loved the "why I do squats" photo! Looking good!

This is exactly me, too!! I feel like I've got the dark cloud over my head and it just gets bigger and I get meaner until I can shove some food in my face. Thankfully, Mr. Jenni understands and gets this way too. We have started packing an extra sandwich to take to work for our commute home (we carpool) so that we can…

Aww! That's adorable and sweet! I hope you both have a great time!!

Thirded!! Or maybed fifthed by this point (I'm behind). I binge watched a show called Parenthood. Now am watching Friday Night Lights. (Already watched Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and Sherlock.) I have an ecclectic taste in TV. I  many BBC shows and binge watch them when I can. Like Call the Midwife.

Oh NO!! I'm so very sorry!!
-
Right?? This bugs me, too. And I'm from the US. I want to yell "It's FOY-YAY, dummy!!" But that's me being judgy. Oops.
-
Meh - I wouldn't log it either. Oh - that's another good word for the pronunciation question: EYE-ther or EE-ther? ETA - I actually use both, but more often "EE-ther". If it starts the sentence, I think I'll say "EYE-ther" like "EYE-ther one of those is fine." But if it's at the end of a sentence, I say "EE-ther." I'm a…

@TigerNY128 I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew! I really hope insurance covers the therapy recommended by the doctors. Hugs to you and your family!!
-
YEP. 100%.

Yes, and I will crash at your place and stuff myself silly with chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars when I am heading to northern ID to visit family!! I like this plan very much.
-
This made me LOL. Of COURSE I say it the correct way CRAY-ON. Also, Batter-ees. Also Sir-rup.
-
@Tubbs216 Congrats on your son graduating from high school!!! That is FANTASTIC!! @raelynnsmama52512 I've got my fingers crossed for you and your family re: the manufactured home. I sure hope it all works out for the best for you guys!

I wondered the same thing? Breaks? Extra time between classes? ETA: I must've been behind by a page or 2, as I see this has been answered!
-
This so much this!!!
YES! Me, too.
-
Or you could come visit me in Portland! :-) The quiz also nails me as being from the inland Pacific NW - Spokane, Boise and Las Vegas are what came up for me, I think. I grew up in rural eastern Oregon, so Spokane/Boise are close enough. I grew up with parents who used "pop". I said "pop" growing up, then met enough "soda"…

Me, three. I'm glad she's doing ok - I'm thinking of her and hoping all is going well.
-
LOL - I get that reference. I've watched Grey's since the beginning... even though it's jumped the shark a few times.
-
This! I vote for her sleeping inside with you. I doubt I'd sleep very well, though, no matter what with the possibility of a prowler outside. I love mastiffs!! They are such sweet and beautiful dogs!
-
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Good question.

Fixed for an Arabian's (specifically a gulf one) point of view. ;)
THIS made me laugh out loud at work where I drew some funny looks from co-workers. I am, after all, supposed to be doing very worky, computery things over here and @Susieq_1994 has totally and irreparably blown my cover. It was worth it.
