Well I went to the infamous garage sale. I only bought stuff I love now I am kind of hoping my daughter does not like it. I got 1 sweater ,1 pair of capris and 6 tops and spent 14.00. All the proceeds go to the animal shelter. Definitely a win win. Enos and I are walking tonight.

I actually started the end of June in swim class and I was walking the dogs at the shelter till we hit the heat wave. So no walking it was too hot even super early and late at night. Hopefully it's broke and I can get back to it.

@am_change When my daughter was a baby it was an option. When she was diagnosed with diabetes it was no longer an option. She got the vaccine. Now I believe it's part of the scheduled shots. Chicken pox are awful. The heat makes it worse. I would live in the bathtub if I got them now in this heat. Good luck!!!

So today we have a heat warning. Now if I had my way I would have already walked Enos but the lady at the center worked noon to 9 yesterday and she said 9 am was the soonest I could come. :/ Oh well you have to work with people.

Some people check in daily others check in every couple of days. It's what ever works for you.

People share photos of their walks ,vacations it keeps things interesting.

It's a positive only zone. We have all been in those groups where someone lays into us about something. Not here our leaders keep things friendly.

LOL I thought I was going crazy.

There are a few of my UAC family members that inspire me. Many a day I think really just do the 20 minutes you know so and so climbed a mountain and they are older than you.

You get to know your fellow UAC family and when you hear something on the news you worry about them.

I work with people who are in their 20's and 30's it's nice to have a few people who can relate to what it's like to be 50's exercise and weight loss is hard the body has a mind of its own.

Swimming last night was odd. We have a couple that comes last night just the husband came. He was on the opposite side of the pool 15 min before the end of class he moves over right next to me.SERIOUSLY LOL I moved to the other side of the pool. I came to exercise not to be picked up.

I like the fact that nobody ever gets the boot. Life is messy and sometimes even with the best intentions it gets in the way. The UAC is accommodating and hey you may not be in the winner's circle but it's all about reaching personal goals.
