Feel free to add me if you'd like (any of you). It's a rough journey and no one should do it alone. I find that It's important to keep the "why" or the "reason" that you started fresh and in front of you as much as possible. Having positive people that are in your lane on this journey helps tremendously. I'd love to be one…

I have lost 83 pounds and i will be 40 years old in February. I still have 43lbs to go. I'm not sure about loose skin yet but if I end up with some I probably won't get surgery unless it becomes a work out obstacle or health risk. My wife is supportive either way thank God. Anyway choose Drs carefully??? A friend of mine…

Congrats on your weight loss! You look so much younger and happier after the transformation. My wife and I are on similar journeys and if you…

I knocked my wife off track by having crap foods in the house. I was never a drinker or anything like that but now I'm on track and she is really struggling I feel awful all the time

That sucks. When you are out to eat have mfp ready at the table to log. Try not to smell his food and drink water. Do most of the talking so He will eat faster eliminating some of the temptation. Spill beer like its a hobby and he may try to drink it faster. Choose where he takes you so you can control most of the menu.…

Never lose sight of why you started. When your mind tells you to quit motivate it by threatening to do more. Then do more. Create guard rails and boundaries with temptation. Recognize obstacles early out and plan for them. Most weight loss obstacles can be fought with positive models, repetitive healthy positive talk, lots…

I was surprised at how not everyone is happy that you lose weight. I was surprised that people that barely talked to me before all of a sudden make efforts to talk to me now. I was very surprised at how many people watch you and anticipate your failure. I was relieved that there were a few people that actually were routing…

You guys are all doing excellent! I am really enjoying the mfp community and have posted my pics in a different area but will post here because the forum asked for them. I hope to connect with people on a similar journey. I hope to motivate, contribute and support others. Happy holidays and God bless

Hey there, milk products in general from what I'm to understand produce mucus which can convert to sugar. This can slow down weight loss sometimes. Try a supplement if you need dairy. I cut pizza out of my diet as I ate it 2-3x per week but that's pretty much it lol. Also I would suggest researching nutrient timing ( how…

Thanks! Feel free to add me and welcome back to mfp. This journey is very difficult. My wife and I have been battling the scale for years. I finally started winning when I accepted that the scale wasn't my enemy. My choices and of course chocolate...they were the real enemies. (Well and then there is always pizza. Devil…
