  • Sunday Funday includes Sworkit, weekly fruit & veg shopping, and hospital time. Mister is still snoozing and I'm up at 0600.
  • Fitstar isn't compatible with my tablet. :( Keep the suggestions coming, though. I'm always looking for ways to make exercise fun. My kettle bell workouts are on the free Daily Workouts app. This plank challenge is killing me. I'm up to 2.5 minutes and it's rough!

I know it sounds like I have stock in Sworkit, but some of the things that I like about it are: randomized workouts so each workout is different every day no equipment necessary visual and aural exercise…

  • I can't do elliptical. For some strange reason it hurts my feet. Treadmill works much better for me, but I haven't seriously worked on one since the 1/2 marathon 4 years ago. Switching it up makes exercise less monotonous.
  • Mooooooving from just stretches back to cardio. Bummed about last week. Doing so much better this one!
  • Preheat oven to 375. Cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out seeds and middle goop. Brush with EVOO. Sprinkle with coarse salt, fresh ground pepper and whatever herbs you like. Place skin up on cookie sheet. Cook 40 min or until soft when pierced.
  • I made some really great spaghetti squash last night. It took my wandering mind off of pizza.

  • @vazquezmom7 Amazon has sales on kettle bells for $1/lb every once in a while. I've bought 2 now and I love them. There is also an Amazon underground App called Daily Workouts that has kettle bell routines on it that you can try for free.
  • I'm just not shaking this evil doer. Mister got better quickly, but he also slept all last weekend while I worked the entire week. I'm just so tired and sick of being sick because it's messing up my goals this week. :( I am, however, keeping up with the plank challenge - Day 13. So I'm just gonna go with.....

  • There was just no way I was going to bike home last night or make up my exercise. Just ate some dinner and drifted off to uncomfortable sleep. Still feel like a truck hit me, but at least the goo is breaking up so I'm on my way to 100%. I gotta do my plank challenge minimum.

  • Caught the Mister's evil weekend cold. The eyes itch, my nose is all a-snifflin' and my headache is out of this world. So, I have to listen to the old body today and just try to drag myself into work. Maybe some stretching later, and hopefully I'll make some exercise up by the end of the week.
