Used a hair clip to tug back the folds of the dress.

Inspired by Gayle and Cheryl, finally took the time to figure out the before/after photo feature on MFP. Also, Gayle's photos reminded me that I still had the same dress from the last time I allowed my picture to be taken. (It was at my son's grad 2 years ago, so it's not actually at my biggest size; that dress is size 16…

Ok, I've been meaning to share a bizarre NSV moment I had a while back but I'm having trouble finding a way to tastefully share it and to keep it short. Oh what the heck, we're all pals here, right? Some of you might get a kick out of this. So years ago when we took our family to Disney, my daughter, who was around 8 at…

Glad you're feeling better Kathleen. Sounds like you're in a healthy space!

Some people have been asking me how I manage to have such a long logging in streak in MFP. My secret is setting a reminder on my phone calendar. Every evening around 9:30 it reminds me to log in. I also have one set to log in my weight for the amazing race days too.

Great to hear from you Lesley! Great accomplishment finishing that squat challenge! I find that I am adopting a lot of the weekly challenges here into my regular routine. I'm still sticking with that water intake challenge and I really enjoy that intense inner thigh video that was posted. Think I'll look into some of her…

Ok. I'll take another stab at this to earn my points with a good conscious. Fave healthy food: sugar snow snap peas. Love them with hummus. Love their sweetness and crunchy texture. I try to use them in stir fries and in salads. Can't think of a way to make them healthier but it does often replace the less nutritional…

Ok. I'm up another pound!!! This is crazy!! I know it's been suggested that maybe this is the weight I'm supposed to be at and I'm actually pleased with the size I am right now generally. But I'm only 5'2" and that stupid BMI chart keeps saying I'm right at the brink of being overweight still. Going for my physical at the…

If needed I can post another summary of the challenges this week, but the way I've set up the spreadsheet it's pretty much laid out there. But I know some of you have limited access to it so let me know!!

@bm1409 @lbenson2006 Lots of recipes for the cauliflower Alfredo online but this is the one I used. I added lots of Parmesan and pressed fresh garlic. Tossed it with zucchini noodles. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/238072/cauliflower-fettuccine-alfredo/

82 flights of stairs.

Yup. Knew team 6 was gaining on us! Nothing like a little close competition to keep us on our toes!!!! We got this!! We'll get it this week!!!
-
OK. I'll dig up the cauliflower "alfredo" recipe and post it tomorrow. And hey! I looked up Egyptian recipes because I was having a tough time wrapping my head around it and was so pleased that my daily hummus habit will pay off again!!! Although I will try to be more adventurous and seek out other Egyptian dishes. Never…

I just be sure to add the threads/announcements I'm interested in, to my favorites by clicking on the star. Helps a bit.

@RoseTheWarrior Love that video you posted. So true! I got the same treatment when I went earlier for my shoulder. That's why I didn't bother going to the doctor this last go around!!! :s
-
Fun fact: To achieve our cumulative miles for this week's challenge, we all need to have an average of at least 56 minutes per day. (By the way, the calculations in our spreadsheet are assuming 17 active team members; I've left akitamother10 and lcolpo on the sheet in case they come back, but I didn't count them in the…

So in case the rest of you didn't know (I just found out), there is a discussion set up where you can post your favorite foods. Be warned, everything posted so far sounds delicious; it can make you hungry!!! Post your list and record your easy 10 points on our spreadsheet!! Now to go do my daily flights of stairs up and…

@bm1409 Saw your favorite food post (don't forget to log your 10 points by the way) and wanted to let you know I've made a "faux" noodles and alfredo sauce using zucchini noodles and a cauliflower sauce instead of alfredo that is amazing similar to the real thing. Let me know if you want the recipe.

My food weaknesses are breads! Especially anything baked at the cottage bakery where our cabin is in the summer. Dangerous!!! The scent in there!!! Yum! Also, I really enjoy high quality cut meats! I can never say no to prime rib!! Steaks on the BBQ!!! Ok. I'm getting hungry writing this...just have to…

I was wondering the same thing.

Thanks. I do feel better. Did my regular workout this morning with lighter weights to ease back after my shoulder injury earlier. What a mess! Anyway, I think I have the spreadsheet set up (I usually notice a few details I forget later) but go ahead and post away! Still waiting to hear Melodie's answers regarding some good…

I'll work on the new spreadsheet for this week later today! Been battling the flu this weekend so really want to make up the activity this week!
-
Great news Gayle! Congrats! So exciting!
-
Reminder to post your activity and challenges by Monday evening please! Thanks! Looks like another great successful week for Team 1!
-
Oh dear, not the week for cell phones. Just heard from Olena, in Kiev. Her phone got stolen last week and a lot of her time has been spent dealing with that. She couldn't do the challenge this week but she will be back this week she hopes.
-
Done! No problem!

Yes Isabelle, we are a dynamic team!!! Great news for your loss this week! You give me hope for my situation!! lol Long story but I managed to get a loaner phone today so that is a relief. I am very embarrassed about how much I depend on my stupid phone. Terrible.
