Been there. Except I was seeing spots in the shower after, didn't actually faint, but I felt awful. My idiot, out of shape self tried to keep up with my husband's preparation for his military pfa... I also had a coworker who hired a personal trainer and he worked her so hard the first day that she puked right on the gym…

Yes, for sure make sure you eat enough...don't be like me and drink most of your calories for the day and end up at the bar, totally plastered, smoking on some hipsters old fashioned tobacco pipe... I swear I can still taste it. :s Bonus: he was wearing a pea coat and had a pencil stash and a spit curl I swear...

I was telling my amazing aunt about my success so far and my sister walked up and scoffed when she heard what I was talking about. My aunt said, "You know what they say when you lose weight, right? Your friends find them!" I guess she didn't think my sister was being very nice, so she basically told her she was looking…

Darn it, I shouldn't have turned on the vaccuum earlier. I upset his Majesty on this most special of days. I will reserve for him a morsel of stew meat from my dinner later to make amends.

Thanks everyone! I always picture ladies down at the elks lodge on fridays enthusiastically calling bingo, holding their cards up in the air and waving it around when I see mine wobble...idk where I first heard it, though.
-
Lol thank you, yes, I was panicking a bit....I was thinking of starting lifting anyways, so I will do that.

I poke at my husband's hand veins. It is amusing to me too, lol. I don't have any that do that now, but maybe someday. ;)
-
Less padding between your skin and the veins underneath? I'm really pale and I noticed the other day that I can see the ones on the top of my thighs way more now. They don't stick up or anything, so idk if its the same as what you're saying.

Mmm...pizza... I try not to 'self-destruct' over any food, but I had to stop the pizza. I can't just have two slices or so and more just doesn't fit in my calorie intake. I started making cauliflower crust pizza, and that curbs the odd craving and fills me up better. Plus, I can make two personal sized ones and my husband…

My brother told me I was looking goofy in my favorite shirt. It hangs on me now, so I guess I'll have to let it go soon...

Yup, mine was sitting on the bed next to me and started blaring randomly and scared the **** outta me. That it's coming from here seems to be the consensus...

Being nervous about my trip home...and wondering why I'm nervous to go home in the first place... :/

Haha, yay! Twinsies! I don't think PCOS is what made me be overweight, but being overweight makes my symptoms worse. I lost about 7% of my total weight and got the first period I've had in almost a year, so the weight loss helps for sure. At least for me. Unfortunately, the period cause some major water weight fluctuations…

My husband ate a whole bag of tastykake donuts without even realizing it. I left the room for like ten minutes and came back and grabbed the bag and there was only one left. He was embarrassed, lol. I've also found cupcake containers in his truck...I have no idea why he only weighs 160 at 6". It shouldn't be possible with…

Whoever flagged this obviously didn't read it. That was an oddly fascinating and engaging read. Good message too. Thanks for posting. :)

Best thing I've found that helps is losing weight. Doesn't help everyone, but it does for me. PCOS is frustrating in that most people get the symptoms differently. I have the extra hair, acne, and no periods. I don't have the cysts, insulin resistance or skin pigmentation issues. All my doctors ever did was put me on BC,…

My fat has always been pretty dense and evenly distributed. I gained 30 lbs over about 10 months a few years ago and didn't even realize because all my clothes still fit mostly the same. Even now I am at a lower weight than I have been in 6+ years and I am just now getting lower measurements with the tape measure and I've…

Sounds like they are jealous...if you feel good, that's all that matters. Good job on the weight loss! Don't let those catty girls get you down.
-
Just a note, this chart works for some, but if you have a bit of upper back fat, it will throw your numbers off dramatically. Told me I was a 40 F back when I was heavier. I tried one just to see... lol I could have fit a small ham in there along with my boobs. Fortunately that fat has been the quickest to go, so now I'm a…

Yes a measuring cup.

My sisters husband sabotages her efforts, too. I think his stems from insecurities, like he's worried she would lose weight and leave him for someone 'better' because he doesn't have good self esteem. There's many reasons why someone might act this way in this situation. Maybe seeing a marriage counselor would help?

When my sister in law did this she cut out excessive amounts of salt to cut down on water weight. Maybe try to stay away from salty stuff leading up to the big day. Congratulations!

:/ I feel really dumb that I didn't figure this out myself. I've been adding several steps to get to the same thing. I never thought to just put the grams as servings...I'm so glad I saw this!!!

Ehh...I don't really care if people want to know. I don't bandy it about, but if they ask, I tell. I've never really been one to fib about it, either. I told a co worker once who had asked and she straight up called me a liar, lol. She said that there was no way I weighed that much, about 215 at the time. I guess I am…

I'm in Virginia too, Hampton Roads area, though.

Lol, my husband pulled out the level when he measured me, too.
-
I just found out the opposite actually...decided to measure myself and I'm actually an inch or so taller than I thought. I've thought for years I was just under 5'4". I was aiming for a lower bmi class and it turned out I was already there! Happy surprise in my case. Kinda wondering when I grew though, since the last time…

OK, I'll do that. Thank you!!

That might get me pretty close. I was concerned about the bones being lighter after cooking, though. This is making my brain hurt. Lol.
