I drink more of an iced coffee pretty much daily. I find that if I am mixing my protein (whey isolate + micellar casein or smooth milk protein all from myprotein dot com best prices I can find for the quality) that I mix them first with my fat ( bulletproof coffee style I have been choosing 14 g coconut oil) + other…

I would stick with the free though I have not paid for premium as I didnt feel the cost justified the additional features. I would highly suggest continuing to take advantage of the supportive community and various groups here, lots of good info and friends. When I need a little pick-me-up, I read the success stories or…

Chicken Noodle but instead of solely or any traditional noodles, trying it with ribbons of carrots, parsnips, celery, would need to be something that you would add as you reheated for lunch / dinner as you do not want them over done. Also adding some greens, probably watercress that I just picked up or chard ribbons too.…

Costco / Sams in the baking aisle. You can dry roast them in the microwave to improve flavor. I do spray some PAM on them if I go that route. Costco also has a decent blend of unsalted as well. If you keep to the serving sizes their prices on pistachios is decent as well. Also this time of year you can find nuts in the…

Yes my TDEE is 2544/day. I mostly do cardio but am trying to include more weights I would check a few sites to calculate your TDEE....Just ran the numbers on http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ and your BMR is just under 2000, which is your starvation level, you drop below this it is bad news. Work smarter not harder, think…

I think that your calculation is incorrect, 3lbs / week not 3 kgs / wk as a 1 lb loss is ~3500 cal. 2 lbs or ~1kg per week is sustainable weight loss. I would also figure out your appropriate TDEE, not just 1800 calories. Have you looked into how you will break down your 1800 calories? I.E. Macros: protein, fat, carbs?…

So you realize that the Carbmaster yogurt derives it protein from protein powder right (milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate)? If you get a pure whey protein isolate or micellar casein with minimal ingredients, they are not all that bad. I like myprotein powders personally as they have pure versions (most…

Have you tried making Lasagna with strips of zucchini cut thin? Made twice, secret is to peel the zucchini with a peeler first then make strips. I use a hand held cheese plane or you could use a mandolin. I also use cottage cheese instead of ricotta zipped up in food processor plus extra eggs and unflavored whey protein.…

carb: 136g at 35% fat: 35g at 20% protein: 175g at 45% Have you thought about flipping the percentage of fats and carbs? Also as the other posters mentioned, use it a gauge on what to eat to balance out your remaining calories. Your body is not super efficient at processing down to the specific gram so if you are not spot…

Could try making your own with Fiberyum (Tapioca IMO syrup) which is cheaper than VitaFiber which is corn based with your protein powder of choice....Just a thought!

Yep to Sabine's comments. 1400 is pretty low and very low if you are going under it since you are starving yourself!!! Figure out your ideal weight TDEE on http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ EAT PROTEIN. Lots of IT. Protein shakes or bars should not be your only form of protein. In order to get all the necessary aminos from…

Nothing against Keto'ers, but have you looked in IIFYM (If it fits your macros)? I have struggled with my weight my whole life, IIFYM has worked for me to lose 40 lbs in just under 4 months (1800 calories, 40% protein, 35% fats, 25% carbs based on my goal weight of 160 lbs for 5'7" Female).

Whey protein isolate is a fast release protein more suited for right after you work out. Micellar Casein is a slow release protein more suited for before you go to bed to breakdown while you sleep. I do a mix 50 / 50 in the morning to get the best of both. If I had to pick one, I would go with the micellar casein because…

That is unsweetened almond milk by the way....Most ready made protein shakes are loaded with additives so stay away from them. I highly recommend Robert Irvines Fit Crunch Bar for protein bar if that is more up your ally. If you go the IIFYM, do yourself a favor and get a food scale ....and use it.

I found Protein to be the key to my personal weight loss of 40 lbs within 4 months (5'7" F) following IIFYM fat loss mode at my ideal weight (160#) (1800 calories 40% Protein, 35% Fats, 25% Carbs). Protein shakes (whey protein isolate and or micellar casein) along with almond milk + ice in shaker bottle is my normal…

Yep just placed another order on their own site since they threw in a flyer with my amazon order....shop.rawrev.com use FiberYum coupon code for 20% off! Not affiliated, just love a good deal like managers specials in the meat department! Will be trying the powder in some baking recipes and getting some maple extract to…

Just bought some FiberYum syrup, significantly cheaper, been adding to my protein shakes/ lattes for added fiber along with sweetness. You can also make the quest bar then mold into smaller balls and bake off as "cookies". Does anyone have any other ideas for the syrup or powder?
