Just my two cents, 2 hrs is a long session in the gym especially 5-6 days a week. I try to keep my time as close to 1 hr as possible. Sometimes a little less and sometimes a little more. When I first started out the DOMS was long lasting and I too had the difficulty with day to day, but as the body adapted the DOMS either…

As others have said 1lb per week is great. The only thing stood out for me is you carbs are 60% of your daily intake. I would lower them and up your protein. I am eating 30%carb, 40%pro, 30%fat which works for me. As for your original question, time in the gym is relevant to what you are doing and what your goals are. I…

That's it in a nutshell, a lot of people will cave and have a treat and say I had that treat this day is shot and binge the whole day. If you eat it, log it and move on. It is a marathon and not a sprint, you got to live and enjoy life to. You will have slip ups here and there it is not the end of the world. I had a few of…

Congrats nice work.

As others have said the closer you are to your goal weight the slower it will be. Also if you've lost 2lbs in 3 weeks that's .66 of lb a week which is pretty good as you half a lb to 1lb a week is where you should be. Your right in the middle. When I was my heaviest 320lbs I could drop 10 lbs in a week, it was interesting…

I used to weigh weekly, and got so nervous doing it. If I lost I would be happy, if I stayed the same I would be content but not happy, and if I gained I would be upset. This didn't deter me and kept weighing weekly as it kept me on track. Usually if I stayed the same or went up I was able to determine the cause and make…

Feel free to add me. I am by far not the most active and don't comment on everything but I do comment from time to time.

My 2 cents for what its worth, just go. I read somewhere that it takes 3 weeks to make a habit. Push through for 3 weeks, make your work out fun. I think you will find at the end of the 3 weeks it will become a habit and easier for you to go

I wont comment on the bypass surgery as that's your choice to make. I used to drive truck and it is tough to eat right and darn near impossible to exercise. I bought a 12 volt cooler and would pack it with food and try and keep it stocked. Walmarts are trucker friendly and have grocery sections to buy healthy food even the…

Smart *kitten* comment....Black All kidding aside, I used to drink mine with half and half as well. I drink a ton of coffee through out the day so all that cream added up. I started drinking it black, I didn't like it at first but now it is the only way I will drink it even though now the half and half would be workable. I…

Workout - damages muscles Rest - repairs muscles (bigger/stronger) I currently running PHAT which is 2 back to back power days (heavy) then 1 day off. 3 hypertrophy (volume) days back to back, then 1 day off, rinse and repeat. If I don't feel I have recovered enough after 1 day of rest I will take an extra day no big deal.…

As others have said follow the program and its recommended time to increase. If you weren't following a program and doing your own thing, then I would say if you can get 3 or more sets of 5 or more reps you would be fine to increase weight. This is just based on what works for me, if I met the above criteria I lift heavier…

I am going to be a smart *kitten* to start lol......Food..... Why does it have to be a traditional breakfast food? Eat whatever you want that fits within you calorie/macro goals. Currently my breakfasts are a 6 oz ground turkey patty (homemade) with a cup of quinoa. This fits in my calories and macros (bulking).

As I travel for work and have for over 20 years, I would say get a kitchen. You can shop, prep, and cook all your own food. This will save money and make it seamless as far as staying on track with your calorie goals. You can always find a gym nearby that you can pay by visit, week, or month. I am currently renting an…

Same here in BC, and it is too bad they were pretty good and the price was right. I heard they have a different Kirkland protein bar coming out. When that is I do not know, I have been looking every time I am there.

Way to go!!!!

I did WW many years ago and found it way to restrictive and lasted a week. I had breakfast and there went my points for the day, really? I have tried other diets as well and found I could not eat like that forever and always always put back any weight I lost and then some. I think there is some confusion with the word…

I started in the gym and am still in the gym. I did buy an Inspire M1to work out at home, not as my go to but as my safety net. If I could not get to the gym I had it to fall back on. I have since sold it as it does not have near enough weight for me, and to be honest prefer the gym, you just cant beat the amount of weight…

I do it because I enjoy it. I am able to put in my headphones, crank my music and lift heavy weight. Its a great form of therapy and helps unwind.

Best of luck, always wanted to run one of these lol

I hear you on the fear of eating extra calories. I went from 320lbs to 185 this past week. A solid mix of cardio and weight training eating at the beginning 1300 cals, then upped to 1800 to the 185lb mark. I am now trying to bulk as much as I can and put on the muscle as clean as I can. I am now eating 3300 cals a day and…

1. How long do your sessions usually last per day? 45-90 minutes depending on workout and how much rest I take between sets. 2. How many different exercises do you tend to do per session/day? Again depends just started PHAT program so between 10 and 7 depending on which day 3. How many reps/sets you do & why/ body goals? I…
