  • Same issue with me and I manage it by not eating certain foods. So far for me it is nuts, eggs, and cauliflower of all things. My MD told me to keep going in to ER and eventually they will remove. I have never gone to the ER yet, just curl up in a ball and suffer for 4-5hrs..... I know its wrong but that's what I do.
  • I look at them as a sign of my hard work and that I am lifting heavy, the old saying about working mans hands. Of course if you are female then you may not want them. I would suggest pumice and moisturize, you may still have them but it will be less noticeable and less tearing the tops off
  • This is what I was eating when I went from 320lbs..... My diet has changed since as my goals have changed. I am now 193lbs and building muscle and gaining. However 1200 cals is pretty easy to get in and not that I was very hungry on it. Here is a copy and paste of a sample day I had back in 2016. Foods Calories Carbs Fat…
  • I used to weigh, then thought I knew what food weighed by what it looked like. I was pretty spot on for the first little bit, then the portion sizes increased. What I was sure weighed 4oz now weighed 8oz..... It is almost comical that your brain makes this happen lol. I got back into weighing for a time but as I am now…
  • If you have calories left, eat. If you don't then take a look at what your daily intake consists of and make the changes to allow you to not be hungry and still remain in a deficit.
  • I am or was or kind of still am... I dunno... I have lost 127lbs in the last say 2 years. I think the best advice is try to keep emotions as under control as possible. Learn that food is not going to fix your stressors or emotions, it will only be a temporary fix and weight wise longer term issue which will only add to…
  • Depends on your goals as others have said. In my case no machines only free weights all the way. I guess the only machine I use ever is treadmill or stationary bike for cardio
  • Ground turkey and a grapefruit, or cup of cottage cheese and a grapefruit. I used to eat oatmeal with protein powder added
  • your welcome
  • All the time, I get the eye rolls, they change the subject, or they find something else to do in the middle of the conversation. I have noted that generally it is the ones that are not at a healthy weight and don't have the motivation or ambition to change. I just continue and don't care....
  • Van Isle here feel free to add me as well
  • I was eating oatmeal with protein powder mixed in. Now I am eating 5oz ground turkey and a grapefruit. I wish I could eat egg but it causes me grief with my gall bladder. Not everyone is ok eating the same thing day in and day out. I however don't mind eating the same thing all the time.
  • Use MFP and accurately log everything you eat. If you notice your weight going up a little make some small minor adjustments in what you are eating. You wont accidentally gain that weight back in a short time frame. So plan you meals at least at 1200 cals per day and tweak it from there. Maybe even add some food depends on…
  • At the top of the page go to "My Home" and then under that got to check in. In there you can input your measurements
  • I like Tabasco or Franks Hot sauce on mine. I heard of someone mixing in their protein powder, they said it was good...I dunnno lol
  • Watch the documentary on Netflix called Fed Up explains it all
  • Congrats to both of ya
  • WOW!!! Great job
  • I was going to say the same thing, starting the post with a "Maybe" is setting yourself up. You can do it, just plan something you can maintain and sustain for the long term. Welcome....
  • Just my two cents, keep doing both. You cant target where the fat comes off from. It will take from where it wants and will eventually get to those spots. I am still holding fat in my stomach as well, but am noticing the inches slowly coming down on stomach.... Persistence is my advice.
  • Mine is simple and I eat it 3 times a day every day. Olive oil Apple cider vinegar Franks redhot sauce Vegetable seasoning (Clubhouse, I think) If you find you get tired of it add different spices to it
  • Sorry, just re read your post and seen you also asked for some fat burning exercise. The most important factor is your diet. Exercise is needed but it is secondary to your diet. I hate the word diet as diets have an end point. Anyways I started losing just walking and increase the distance or intensity (hills). When the…
  • It can be hard, but it is not impossible. I find what makes harder than age, even though it has to do with age is your life. You may have kids, and they have sports, and school stuff, life stressors and the like. All things you did not have when younger. I am proof it can be done, I was 41 2 years ago, poor eating habits,…
  • Salads aren't bad its generally what you put on it or in it that will jack up the calories. I can have a cup and half of salad mix up my own dressing (olive oil and Apple cider vinegar) and keep it under 200 cals. The one thing that got me was a subway chicken sub. When I first started the weight loss journey I thought a…
  • I think best advice is worry more about your weekly caloric intake more so than your daily. Example 3500 cal (500/day for 7 days) deficit will lose 1 lb of fat. If you eat 1200/day Monday to Thursday that's 4800 cals. Then Friday you eat 3000 cals, Saturday 2000 cals, and 3000 again on Sunday, that's 8000 cals plus your…
  • 1 hr ago, 4 oz eye of round steak and a cup of whole wheat pasta no sauce
  • Nice job!!!
  • Agreed nice work Kazie
  • I love Allmax IsoFlex Chocolate Peanut butter. I am currently using Magnum Salted freaking Caramel and love it. Taste is always going to be subjective. I have heard of some protein powders nitrogen spiking their protein powders, so with that I am very picky on which protein powder I will buy
  • I get 100g plus a day from food, and make up any difference with protein powder either in a shake or in my morning oatmeal. Depends what you need for total grams of protein. It is always better to get it from real food, but nothing wrong with a little supplementation to reach your goal.
