Brilliant! So glad I asked :) I do have a slow cooker and rarely use it so great to get some suggestions here too. Gosh so much you can do with them.

Oh wow, there are some really fab recipes here! Thanks guys! I'm hungry now :)

Hadnt planned a rest day today but I'm so sore after yesterdays workout I'm struggling to walk!

Muffin tin quiches? YES! That sounds ideal. I have a really great thermos flask I bought for college...and haven't used it yet so I should really get using it! I think you're right @ FutureThoughts, my lunch needs to be my big meal.

Oh that sounds ok. I've used them once in a casserole and they just thickened it. I must have added them for too long. Nice flavour though.

I'm 35. SW 180, CW 169, GW 142(ish). I'm here about 7/8 weeks. So far so good but the weight loss is slowing down.

Clean eating to me is as close to organic and non processed as possible. The only sugars and salts I use are natural from the earth and I eat very little dairy. The grains I buy are wholegrain or brown. I have friends who are "clean eaters" and they define it as a raw vegan diet so to each their own.

I'm also a size 12 (in most brands) and have 42 inch hips! However 2 years ago they were 39 inches. They sound like good measurements. :)

Can you really do this? That would be quite handy. Its funny, I actually thought of trying to make a crustless quiche this weekend. I have some leeks that need to be used up. Never made one before or a frittata but I do like those foods cold and it would be very filling. Definitely would tick the "dinner" box. Thanks!

:) Great tunes here! I must revise the play list soon. I NEED my music to keep me motivated, it really helps me keep up the pace when it comes to running.

I've been thinking about the soups in thermos and smoothie in beakers. A sandwich is also possible. Its just that I feel I'll be missing out on dinner so want something substantial or I might just have to learn a new way of eating. I get that the day is very unreasonable. I'm juggling work with college and a placement I…

Awesome seeing them next to each other like that! Thanks

Try it for free on YouTube. Like every workout what you put in is what you get out. If its "too easy" you can go deeper into the movements or try heavy weights. Its a great system in that you can go as "beginner" or as "advanced" into the movements as your able. It is repetitive and a bit mind numbing but I have to say I…

My favourite workout songs have to be: The Stunning - Brewing up a Storm Mushroomhead - Cut me Die Die My Darling - either Metallica or Misfits will do :) Death in Vegas - Dirt Forty Six & 2 / Pushit - Tool The Gravediggers Song - Mark Lanegan Open Up - Leftfield Paint it Black - Rolling Stones Rusty Cage - Soundgarden…

This is interesting. I ended up in Burger King yesterday evening with my partner. I knew I wanted a few drinks and didnt want to go over my calories too much. They had the calories displayed beside each thing on the menu. My partner got a cheeseburger. I got...nothing. I looked at the calories and knew I had dinner at home…

About 2/3 years ago I took my nieces to McDonalds as a treat. I couldn't believe how not into it they were! They barely touched their food so I ate theirs as well as my own. I asked them "What kid doesn't like McDonalds?" I got told their favourite food is fish! As in salmon and salad. These were 3 and 6 years old. When my…

Well done and why on earth not! The couch to 5k is a great programme, its how I started running too but it is just a guideline. You're going to rock it! I agree completely, a 5k is mostly mental training. Enjoy the atmosphere and wearing your race number. There is something wonderful about feeling like a part of a group of…

I eat a lot of eggs. Thankfully I dont have high cholesterol. I dont worry about it at all.

@TrickyDisco (love the name) I do use frozen spinach and fruit in my smoothies but might start using more frozen veg when cooking. I'm all on for tinned beans and pulses! And thanks for reminding me about the pasta sauce, you're so right. I even have cornflour in the kitchen so will try it that way. :)…

I'm just logging it as circuit training. I like your approach! I also get bored with things so might try this if I find the same thing. I also wondered about rest days!

My arms are killing me today! Waiting for breakfast to settle then day 3. I thought my weights were too light but nope...feeling it today! I'm using 2 x 2kg hand weights.

I had done 3 days then had a vacation. So started again (as soon as I'm home) and I'm now just on day 2 of level 1 but determined to stick with it. The results of others who have done it are really motivating.

Dancing and trail running for me. I've also found a spinning class where the instructor is awesome and thanks to him its a load of fun.

I juice sometimes and I also blend smoothies sometimes. For me the sugar is well worth the other nutritional benefits. I use a masticating juicer, I think the one I have is green star, and I use a ninja nutribullet for my smoothies. Both are very reliable and good at what they do. The only thing is the juicing is quite…

I'm working up to one...hopefully by next Spring. I did a 5k 2 weeks ago and have 10k in November.

I thought I was healthy until I started using this (almost 3 weeks ago). If anything it has opened my eyes to the fact I was eating too much. I'm still learning but I lost 4 lbs in 18 days. Its a great tool to bring awareness to what goes into your body. I was nowhere near as healthy as I thought I was!

I get you. I'm going into third year (college on weekends), also working full time 5 days a week and work in the evening 3 nights a week. The last 2 years I put on a "study stone" around my middle. I realised though if I don't tackle it now it will keep growing! I've started walking more. I get off the bus a stop earlier…

I'm new, almost 3 weeks on the site and finding the support of the community amazing. I've a desk job, then do volunteer work in the evenings, more sitting, and study at the weekends, again on my *kitten*. I put on loads of weight because I spent all of the time literally sitting and my lifestyle is emotionally draining.…

There are so many supplements its overwhelming. I was in a health store at lunch and left with green tea and coconut water! No supplements. I tend to just take coconut water on heavy workout days and vit D in the winter. However in the last few days I've upped the training and am alternating advanced spinning, circuit…
