  • I'd love an outdoor, festival themed wedding, barefoot with flowers in my hair and a bonfire. I'm in Ireland though so no matter what time of year we have our wedding its most likely going to be lashing rain and stormy. My fiancé is into the whole silver service 6 course meal though. I'm hoping to find a compromise! I'm…
  • Hi Ladies, I just got engaged over Christmas and have yet to set the date but hopefully sooner rather than later. I'd love an autumn wedding so hopefully in about 9 months... Great to find this group here. :)
  • I'm a bride to be, probably January 2017 so have loads of time. I do want to be in shape though.
  • I had one years ago but it was too small and too difficult to clean. Given the reviews here I might pick a big one up in the January sales.
  • I don't look as heavy as I weigh. When I tell people my weight they look at me as if they are seeing me through new eyes. Or maybe that's how I see it. I carry myself well, have always been "curvy" and never really thought about myself as "fat" ever. Last year I went to the doctor just for a standard prescription, she got…
  • I don't think its creepy. I cant read most of the messages on my phone anyway and then I forget about them or have too many by the time I'm at the laptop. A message or no message doesn't stop people from being creepy so personally it makes no difference to me. Anyone can add me here, its just about community support, the…
  • Shock Absorber! I couldn't be without it, they come in big sizes (I'm a G-GG) and for all range of sports. I could run for an hour in my shock absorber and nothing moves.
  • I steam them until they still have a bit of crunch, I personally hate them overcooked. I toss them in crispy bacon lardons or chorizo and serve with toasted pine nuts. About 8 per person.
  • I hear ya! I am very clumsy and have no balance. I've done yoga (bikram and hatha) for years, run, train at the gym, did dance, ju jitsu and kendo training, hiit and circuits...nothing really improved my balance or coordination at all. I cant even remember who or when it was...somebody pointed out that I have a tilted…
  • I love your attitude! I joined MFP for very similar reasons. :)
  • Just getting back into it after a break in December. Feel free to add me, my diary is open
  • Waist training to me is wearing bespoke corsets and training the body to be able to wear the corset. I used to wear corsets, I trained for them and had them made to my specific measurements, my favourites being made by Puimond. I was a 30 inch waist and could comfortably close a 22 inch corset. This to me is waist…
  • I have an open diary. Last 2 weeks were quite mad so I haven't been here but I generally log daily and would have a mostly clean diet.
  • I tend to buy frozen fish too; prawns, shrimp, tuna steaks, salmon fillets. I just let them thaw in the fridge then generally will fry and serve with brown rice or salad. I love to do the prawns or shrimp in coconut oil, chilli and garlic. The tuna steaks I just season with pepper and rock salt and dry fry on a non stick…
  • I'm working my motivation! Must...get...to...gym.
  • I'm Irish so tend to have mostly the same foods as Britain. Spotted Dick to me is sponge with currants. YUM
  • I would eat plenty of fresh tuna and tuna steaks. I don't eat the canned stuff too often (I'm just not crazy about it) but sometimes use it to stuff peppers or mushrooms.
  • Yes yes!
  • Its almost 3 weeks since I posted this and I'm so glad I copped myself on. I've been back in the groove and starting to really see results, not just in weight but in my body and my fitness levels. In the 19 days since posting this I've lost another 3lbs so I'm back in the game and feeling great. It was a bit of a…
  • I'm here 3 months. I add all food and exercise and have an open diary. I've lost 13lbs since joining. Anyone can add me. This site does help with motivation.
  • My initial goal was to get to the weight I was when I started college, 158lbs. I'm getting there. Two years ago today a photo was taken of me in a bikini (see my profile). I was 5lbs lighter there than I am today...but today I have collarbones, a smaller waist and more definition in my arms, back and legs. Definite NSV. I…
  • I've an open diary, log daily - food and workouts. Anyone can add me.
  • I used to be really into health and fitness and was very sporty. I changed career and the new job involved commuting - 4 hours a day on a bus! In the very same week as starting the new job I started college which is 3 evenings a week and weekends. I went from being super active to literally sitting all of the time. I put…
  • I had really bad shin splints and couldn't run without really thinking I was going to have a heart attack. I did C25k. I became a runner! I loved it. I stopped running for 18 months and got back into it this year using the C25k programme again. I did a 10k last week where I ran the whole thing and I just started the c25k…
  • Both. Cardio has greatly improved my heart, lungs and breathing techniques for when I work out. Cardio gives me more calories which means I dont feel deprived on my weight loss journey. Strength training has given me definition, I have a much stronger core and stamina, I feel fitter.
  • So glad I asked! Wow such a great food and to think I never paid it much attention until recently.
  • I have a few depending on my workout and my mood: Good things come to those who sweat bye bye belly I love my body and my body loves me
  • I'm here since August (I think), log on daily, find the support here invaluable. I have an open diary and really think we all have the same goal, to feel better about who we are. Anyone can add me. Initially I joined to lose weight, that's no longer the priority but I hope it is a side effect of having a healthy and active…
  • 20k down, 40k to go. Hmmm, it will be close. But I am so determined!
  • Thank you both. @rosebarnalice that gooey chocolate mess in a cup sounds amazing! @catscats222 That's interesting about the pro-biotic, makes sense when you think about it. I'll look into that some more.
