Only 10.5 lbs down but I think I might have ankles! I've already been called "obsessive" because I want to work out when I can and use my lunch break to go for runs or do a quick gym session.

I get exercise induced asthma when it gets really cold here, well when I run. I am returning to running (since June) after 2 years so will be seeing a doctor to get an inhaler before it gets too cold.

I love craft beers, premium whiskey and fine wine. When I started logging its what sent me over my allowance. I've since learned how to budget on drinking days and log it as I drink so I can have awareness. I tend to share my beer and wine so 4 beers on my food diary is really just 2 as they tend to be half portions. If…

There are a load of dishes here I never would have thought of! I love having friends all over the world. I've had to do college work this evening so I'm keeping it simple and just shredding and frying with onions, peppers, mushroom, chorizo and I'll make up a cajun style seasoning...or something like that. I'm def going to…

I made roasted chickpeas recently and they were yum. Never thought about adding them to my home made trail mix but I'm definitely going to do this!

I'm only getting back into running but I do remember when I was serious about it I would try to keep my pre run diet vegan as I'd get heartburn otherwise. Chia seeds. Soak a load, I use a heaped spoonful, in water about an hour. It goes like gel. Its tasteless, easy to consume and digest and I tend to have them about 30-60…

I've never measured before, so no idea how many miles I can run in a month. I'm doing a 5k on Sunday and hope to keep running 3 times a week so I'm going to see if I can get 50k total done by the end of the month.

I really do love chilli but I'm making a beef and bean chilli tomorrow. There are plenty of ideas here though! Thanks :)

I know quite a lot of people who are on raw food vegan diets...and on them years and years. I did a raw food vegan detox before for 10 days when I volunteered for a friend who ran raw food retreats. It was amazing. By day 5 I had so much energy, my digestion worked in a way it never did before, my skin cleared up and I…

I do eat mine back. I work out quite a bit and some of them are intense so there is no way I'd manage on just 1200 calories. If that were the case I'd probably be in minus calories some days and I don't want to invoke "starvation mode" which is counterproductive. I want my system to be a way of life that works for me long…

Well I'm finally under 12 stone. Now weighing in at 11stone 12. I want to tell everyone but I don't want them to take my sense of achievement away!
-
Both sound good and I'd have all that stuff at home! YUM!
-
I don't really eat them for breakfast but got the Cranberry ones in the last few days and they're handy when in a hurry or as a snack.

Done! The support helps me out so much and I try to give it where I can. Anyone can add me. We all stand together.
-
I'm around daily, log everything, lost a bit but still some to go. The support here has been the biggest motivator. Anyone can add me, we're all in this together.

I just sometimes stew apples with about a tablespoon of agave and a little water. I then have with yoghurt, wheat biscuits, seeds, fruit or on its own as desert or breakfast.
-
@kkenseth I was eating back all of my calories until this week. I'm probably eating back half now so I will see if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Mine should be here by Friday...

Best of luck! I agree completely. I've my first 10k in November (since 3 years). I am now running 3 times a week, before signing up for the race I'd run whenever I felt like it.

Yum! I made something similar as a starters to a dinner party. I got canned tuna, mixed it up with a little sesame oil, pepper, lemon juice and paprika. I got cos lettuce and put avocado in the bed of the lettuce, spooned the tuna into the lettuce over the avocado, put some thinly sliced raddish on top and served with my…

I use it for salad dressing but that's about it. It smells so strong I couldn't imagine drinking it.

I find them quite effective. If you find them useless try slow down the movement and / or add more weight. I use them especially to stretch out my legs after a particularly intense spinning class. They are also a good exercise just for building my leg muscles.

This is interesting. I've majorly increased my work outs in the last 2 weeks and the scales have stayed the exact same. However I accept its a long haul so not worrying about it yet and hoping the results will follow.

Good point, thank you.

I finally unpacked my Garmin from storage. Think I'll be joining the October challenge ;)
-
Mine is open. I didn't log when I was on holiday but that aside I log everything consistently. All water, food, drink, exercise, bold treats. Feel free to add me.
-
I'd be interested in this too. I just add it to smoothies sometimes but I feel I could do so much more...

This is a really good threat for motivation!

I have a Garmin Forerunner. I only used it when I was seriously running so its been in the box for 18 months, I'm just getting back into running since this Summer so must dust it off and put it to work.
-
Yeah the fact that its short and sweet is a real motivator. Maybe when I get a bit fitter I can do the shred plus the running!
