Why not have husband deal with the older baby when you exercise after little is in bed?
-
I was going to, but I went with the 30 Day Shred. I intend to try BBM at some point though.

Starting 2 weeks ago. Blech.

It was going to be an awesome Saturday, but work came in. Ahhh! Now I'm going to be stressed about getting it all done on deadline.

My husband was a SAHD for a year. Whatever works for you both! How old are your kids? :) I have a preschooler and a toddler.

Great here. Settling on my couch with the last of my snacks in my calorie allotment of the day, reading a book. Kids are asleep, I don't have to work, hubby isn't home yet... life is goooooood right now.
-
Yeah, it's not really that bad!
-
Yeah... I kept telling myself "I'm not 200 yet, I've still got a way to go." Yeah, I'm only 20 pounds away from that, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, time to work on it.

My plan was to survive. I survived! I also did the first day of level 2 of the 30 Day Shred, which was... hard. I feel pathetic and weak, but I know that I need to get it done. I expect to be doing this again after 30 days, because I'm so horribly out of shape. The oldest (3.5, special needs) did pretty well today but…

My life, right there. I'd always "lose weight someday". Hah... Oh, the lies we tell ourselves. I guess it's true now, though.

How old are you? I'm forever 21, also known as turning 30 in a couple months. And I have white hairs. I hate my white hairs. I pluck them. Work or SAH (if work, what field?) Both. I'm a SAHM and work from home when the kids are in bed. I do remote medical transcription (FYI, people, not a field I recommend going into…

Popping in to wave and say hi! I never visit this section of MFP because it's all pointless games, but was excited to see a real chat thread. Hope to get to know some of you! Meanwhile... Um. Hi. I'm Panda. I have 2 kids and I'm on MFP to lose weight and become healthy and chaaaaange maaaaah liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife... within…

Day 1 of Level 2 today and it was ROUGH. I'm doing modified for almost everything. I was starting to feel good toward the end of Level 1 despite still needing to rest here and there! And 3 is going to be worse! OMG.

Hi! I have 2 children, my 3.5-year-old boy and my 20 month old daughter. My weight is what it was before the first pregnancy but I'm bigger (so much muscle is gone!). Trying to get to a point where I can run around with my kid outside without feeling like I ran a marathon. :)

Looks like we have an awesome group of moms here! I'm having a hard time sending friend requests from mobile but go ahead and add me!
-
My son is special needs (general developmental delay but they don't think he's on the spectrum) and it has been hard here too. He's 3 now and just started preschool. Hugs mama! I'm trying to get healthy for him and our new baby girl as well.

33 days sounds perfect for ripped in 30 or 30 day shred to add to your current regimen! Haha. I don't know what is realistically possible or not but I'm totally rooting for you!

Did it! And I'm gonna be sore sore sore tomorrow.

Day 6 of level 1 done. Gonna try to get in the second workout with both kids awake. Someone send me luck!
-
Ugh. Have not gotten my workout in. Tried this mornibg, baby screamed...Then had a migraine the rest of the day and am working all night (I'm basically always on call for my job). I feel antsy because I didn't get my workout in. I can honestly say it's never bothered me to miss a workout before! Maybe I can try before bed…
-
Yeah, I might exercise in front of the kids, but generally I wait until everyone is asleep or gone! I am definitely not a sight for anyone who wants to retain vision when I exercise.
-
Woohoo! Congratulations!! At some point I have to have the husband watch the children so I can exercise today. I don't do it in front of him, even though he encourages me to. His stupid job changed his days off! I have a system when he isn't home and I like that system. He's ruining it. Haha. Oh well. Day 6 here I come...…

Also nursing. Add 500 to your calorie intake and eat ALL your exercise calories. Personally I don't cut calories when nursing and focus on exercise. It's more important for me to keep up my supply. I just try to make smarter choices in food. There are days I can't stop eating because she's going through a growth spurt, or…

Day 5 here! You can do it!!
-
Yay, a friend! I'll just pretend you're a newbie too. Haha!
-
I was 180 before baby #1, 190 after, and now 180 again after baby #2. Working on getting it all off. I was lucky in not gaining a bunch with the pregnancies, but I need to get my butt in gear!

Day 5, level 1, complete. I'm totally behind all of you, but I'm loving it. Sore, but motivated!
