Yeah, dairy is fine as long as it's organic. I'm allergic to whey so I have to be a bit careful and can't eat things like ricotta or whey protein powder.

Wow! That's a big drop in a short amount of time! I was excited to lose 3 lbs in my first week. Today is day 7 for me so I'm a newb right along with you. I've noticed recently that a lot of burger patties have wheat in them. A restaurant we go to regularly told me recently that they do that too... I've always made my own... My husband gets dehydrated frequently so we make one up with 1/4 t salt, splash of lemon juice, room temp water, shake in a blender bottle, chug... Sometimes I put stevia drops in, but usually I just drink it straight up. LOL

@samandaindia Part of our TCM allergy treatment included an anti-candida diet. That can often be a source of inflammation. Have you treated candida yet?

Interesting info! Personally I enjoy the process of logging. I love statistics and charts and it makes me feel organized and on top of things. Winging it feels like mental chaos to me, so it's nice to see there's a real reason to stick to logging, even after I get more familiar with this WOE.

I use multigrain ryvita crackers (4 net carbs each) instead of bread. I wasn't a big bread eater anyway, so it does the job.
