Hey... we're all in this together! I've made my account somewhat anonymous because I don't want people in my "real life" seeing all my personal stuff here. I've found this group to be incredibly supportive and smart too. ;) Glad you posted. @karebear5891 I was in a similar situation. I was 279 lbs, did the HCG protocol and…

Whoa... looking at that chart, I'm very glad I picked all the mango off my salad when I ate out today! I had some berries last week, but honestly it wasn't worth the carbs for the tiny amount I had. Mostly I get a lot more satisfaction from the carbs in cheese, nuts, and non-starchy veg... Today it's hot and humid, so I'm…

Yay, glad to see there are more new people participating in WIW! You're all doing great... Today is day 15 for me so there's a few of us who started around the same time.

I almost got weight loss surgery... I did the whole program and was approved, just waiting on a surgery date, but decided I needed to do this naturally... Congrats on your progress!!
-
WOWZERS!! I had no idea you had lost so much weight and were so close to goal!! Fantastic!
-
This! I even do it the night before if I know I'm having leftovers. I love the quick add features where you can add the same meal from the day before. Major time saver!

Any or all of the following... Pepperoni sticks, dill pickles, deli meat, cheese, nuts, hard boiled eggs, pre-cooked bacon strips. Since you have a cooler, I'd pack a baggie of cold baked salmon or chicken, a freezer bag of greens, a little container of caesar dressing and a baggie of feta. Add everything to the bag of…

Turning 40 last month and feeling like I'm 65 is why I started this WOE. Last year I went through the entire process of applying for and getting approved for weight loss surgery, did all the classes, did all the blood work, doc appts, sleep apnea test, etc and got approved. I was just waiting for a surgery date, but I got…

That's seriously amazing... I'm hoping I'll be able to start walking regularly by the end of the month. I'll have to note how I feel after meals and tweak it if I have pain... That's a really great idea... I have something called Oral Allergy Syndrome, so it's hard for me to tell which foods are causing a…

I do 50 net carbs, which usually translated to around 65 carbs if you don't do net carbs. It's low enough that I know I'll keep losing weight, but not so low that I'll feel deprived. I follow Dr Eades Protein Power (phase 2) and find its a nice moderate approach to LCHF.

Is it possible it's something in your environment? Have you looked into oral allergy syndrome? Do you have an allergy specialist?
-
Wow, you guys! Amazing!
-
I aim to stay under 50 net grams of carbs each day. I'm usually pretty close or right on that amount and haven't had any cravings so far (on day 13) and am feeling good.

I have a feeling there will be some counselling my future...

I get my energy from alone time. I spent about 80% of my time alone at home and I relish and enjoy it thoroughly. I very rarely feel bored or restless, I'm most at ease when I'm alone, puttering around with my little home routine. Socializing with friends, and even too much time with my family is completely draining. I…

Had a lovely afternoon at the beach with the family. None of the other families showed up, but there were a couple kids my son knew there so it was still fun for him. It's HOT out today so we're camping out by the fan and drinking lots of cold drinks (calorie free of course!).

My skinny high metabolism hubs and son have been more than happy to eat all my carbs...

It can be done. :) I measure, weigh, and track every little thing. I ate 1625 cals today and got in 120 g fat. My diary is open if you want to look at it... dinner tonight was a taco salad. I was eating just over 2000 calories prior to today but lowered my calorie goal last night because I want to lose a bit quicker. I…

Only if I want to suffocate! HA!!

So freakin' jealous... I'm currently wearing a very tight 44DD (I really should go up a cup but no point spending money on expensive big bras now that I'm losing the weight) and I'd love to be a perky little C cup. Congrats and keep us posted on how it goes. I hope to be where you are now in a couple years. :)
-
Huh... Well that would awesome if they just disappeared! I have always hated having big boobs. Gravity is a female dog!!
-
WOO HOO!! Congrats on getting so close to goal...
-
Ha! I just double dog dared you to join this challenge and you were joining AS I dared you... I think it's meant to be. :D Now I just need to get MY crap together and do what I know I need to be doing!

There's a great little June challenge going on... I double dog dare you to join in... ;)

Although I'm one of those people that uses some of my carb budget for a little chocolate treat most days because I want this to be sustainable for the rest of my life, if I don't use all my calories or carbs in a day, when the clock strikes midnight, those are considered gone forever... Maybe your carb limit is too low? I…

I had huge DDs when I was 13 years old and only 125 lbs, so I doubt it... They were something ridiculous like a J cup when I was nursing... Plus now they are super saggy, so will need a lift at the very minimum. LOL

Just thought I'd update my thread... Day 10 today and going strong. I went to the Keto calculator last night & it says I should lower my calories to be losing 1 lb/week, so I updated my macros to be 1740 cals rather than the 2030 MFP started me on... Left my carbs at 50 net g, protein is 75 net g still, and can't remember…

So seems I have the logging and staying within macros well under control, but the water, supplements and exercise are just not happening...

Made me laugh... I read it out loud to my husband and he agreed that totally describes me. LOL
