I just found Atkins snack bars. I ate one yesterday for the first time and it was delicious. Dark chocolate with cherries and nuts. High protein, low carbs and sugar only 150 calories. It was like a nice sweet treat. I had it with tea for my breakfast, so I know it will for for a snack.

The way I think of weekly calories is if I go over my daily budget by 200, I either have to exercise it off, or deduct 200 from the remaining days of the week, like 50 calories less a day.

Your comment reminded me of the movies I would watch and the people who were eating in fine restaurants, had these miniscule amounts of food on the plate...seemed like there was more plate than food. Taco salad my fav.......ground turkey, cheese, organic (flavorful) tomatoes, red onions, avocado (good oil) and balsalmic vinegar. Not too many calories, flavorful and filling! I cut out the bread cause I'm trying watch how much sugar I eat. I tried a diabetic bread today...for my purposes, just fine.

I eat a lot of chicken thighs, skin on, baked, then take the skin off, ground turkey for tacos, meatloafs, chili, spaghetti (when I dare to eat pasta). Well not being able to see your food diary I would hazzard a guess that perhaps you are drinking more water than you ever have and/or sodium is close to limit. Trying reducing sodium first.

First week, I dropped inches and like 3 lbs., then following week I came here and lost an additional 3 lbs. Low sugar and low sodium.

I fix my food with not much salt, but add it when I'm about to eat. I use sea salt it seems to be more intense than the regular kind (Mortons)
