  • I'm just across the water in Ireland, and promise not to mention Brexit to any UKers who add me. ;)
  • Exercise: Yes. 40 minutes on the stationary bike. Calores: Yes, thanks to the 40 minutes on the stationary bike. Tracked: Yes. Pass days so far: 1 In terms of CICO, I don't have a strong opinion either way. It depends what your goal is and how you handle food. In the weight loss group I was in before, I saw people eat the…
  • January 3: Exercise: Yes. Dragged out the stationary bike and cycled for 25 minutes. Calories: Yes. Tracked: Yes. Pre-logged most of my food so knew early on what kind of leeway I had. Found myself standing in my kitchen after dinner, wanting something sweet so went with an Options hot chocolate for 40 calories which was…
  • Getting married April 2020, so I have just over 15 months to lose 30lb and work on toning my arms etc so I look the best I can in my dress. Feeling healthier should also improve my general mood and decrease irritability, which I'm sure my other half will appreciate :#
  • Jumping on the new year, new me bandwagon to give this another go. Height: 5'6" SW: 159lb Ultimate GW: 128lb January GW: 152lb I'd like to be down 7lb by the end of January, but I'm mainly choosing that goal because some of my SW is artificial gain because of the holidays. After I lose that and even out a bit, I'll be…
  • This is why I'm back here. My focus this time is on introducing healthier habits, such as tracking my food. It's not on the number on the scale - I've been at weight loss groups before where I would stop drinking water 6 hours before weigh-in just so the number on the scale would be better that evening. It taught me…
  • January 2: Exercise: Just over 20 minutes of walking at lunchtime today Calories: Within budget for the day Tracking: All tracked and accounted for. (Pass Days: 1)
  • 30 is my goal as well :) Feel free to add me. Could do with the extra support.
  • January 1: Exercise: This will have to be a pass Calories: Yes Logged: Yes Slightly Overdid it on the NYE celebrations so exercise was out of the question.
  • I love this advice.
  • Weighed myself this morning and I'm up about 7lb since mid-December. Some of it is genuine weight gain, some of it is the after-effects of a lot of wine on New Year's Eve. I expect to drop 3-4lb quite quickly but it will probably be the end of January before I'm back to my mid-December weight.
  • *waves* Same here. But I figure if I don't try and start again, I've absolutely no chance of succeeding.
  • Hi all, saw the link in one of the message boards and thought this challenge seemed like something I could use. Have about 30lb I'd like to lose before getting married next year, but I am mostly interested in forming healthy habits rather than just looking at the number on the scale. I've actually given myself my…
