Count me in! 11-1 AF. In my quest for a good mocktail I mixed Seedlip Grove with Q ginger ale (with stevia). The ginger ale had a “bite” from the ginger and over powered the Seedlip. Tonight I’ll try Seedlip and seltzer. Your mocktail suggestions welcome!

Hi - I've been working on AF in October but haven't posted here yet. 2 A days so far but have 2 more planned this weekend. My question to the group - Facebook knows I'm trying to be AF and keeps giving me alcohol replacements like Seedlip, hemp spirits, etc. Has anyone tried these? I miss the "unwind time" at the end of…

Hi! Love this thread although a bit intimidating. I am back at MFP after a six mo gap and a 4 lb "stress baby" from work. But things are finally calm at work and I can get back in control. I restarted C25K and plan on getting back to my yoga classes. Those make me feel strong and relaxed. Looking forward to getting to know…

Whew Just finished w1d2. Somehow messed up the music and program sync so was blessed with 9 min of extra walking!

There is no competition in yoga. Just find a style you like and stick with it. I find it clears my mind but has also made me stronger and more flexible.
-
If you have a vigorous practice it builds strength and tone. I suspect that other methods could get you there faster. But I know I am much stronger now than before I started.
-
I am a carboholic but have been switching to whole grains where possible. As you note, it's cico so make it work for you!

I at least prelog what I plan for day. It helps me navigate my food choices. My MFP app has a notification at each meal and that helps too

My office also has lots of sweets out. I have been good about walking on by. If I am hungry, I know I have food with me to eat. If I am not hungry then I don't need the donut! I also say (to myself) that nothing tastes as good as being thin will feel.

Interesting idea. Made me go look at my fiber. I only hit the goal once in last 3 weeks. So today I will see if I can up it. Good luck on your FibTarMo.
-
I'm in for 10 as well.

Thanks for all the replies. I have been mixing plain with my fruity yogurt. Thinking about adding some oatmeal as the weather cools.
-
So back to the question....I often buy a rotisserie chicken at the market and use that for various meals. I also use the potato AND something method. Eggs are another easy choice
-
I found it helpful because it changed my relationship with food and the way I approached it.
-
I switched to seltzer....you get the bubbles without artificial or caloric sweeteners.
-
Where do you find these powders?
-
Not horrible but it sounds like you think it is a problem. This is all Cico. So if you are in calorie deficit no issue. If not maybe for the next week only drink you exercise points.
-
Thanks! Great ideas. Love the maple syrup idea.

Make sure to count the calories burned in patting yourself on the back for your amazing success so far! Think about the changes in your life with that amount of weight loss. What worked to get you to your success? You will be your best teacher.

I like that one too. But you will sell more books with Easy Weight Loss: Eat What You Want, No Exercise Needed

Half and half.....what a great concept! Will give a try.

I like to brown the chicken, then cook up some onions in the pan. Pour off the fat and then put the chicken back in. Pour on canned or Pomi type crushed tomatoes. Add Italian spice blend. Simmer til chicken is done. Toss in green beans to steam at the end.
-
A go to quick and inexpensive meal - baked potato with chili. My grocery store has soups including chili that are fresh and tasty. All can be microwaved. Add a green salad to up the veg quota.
-
Think about creating a new relationship with food. Chips are not good or bad... Just something to enjoy and log along with carrots
-
Pls add me! I am into my second week. Need to keep this going!
-
I liked WW and points because it changed the way I thought about food. I think they also bad good advice on dealing with different problem situations. In the end, I stopped tracking and stopped losing. I am switching to calorie counting as a new way to commit. But I am bringing my WW healthy habits with me

Perhaps not a scientific source but to quote Legally Blonde on the impact of exercise on mood. Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t.

Perhaps not adventurous but I am a huge fan of a black bean salad. Toss a can of black beans, can of kidney beans and can of garbanzo beans (all drained and rinse) with chopped onion and a vinaigrette type dressing. Let sit in the fridge at least overnight I use a cup as a tasty and filling lunch. Sometimes I add avocado.

Also new and need support!

Also looking for daily support! I am restarting my weight loss journey....one I have travelled before. Ready to eat healthy and well while losing weight!
