Sorry I have been absent for the past couple of days. Had an outpatient surgery for my wrist. Common sense prevails in any given situation. But, 1 oz is about the size of your thumb for solid fats, ie cheese, nuts, etc. For liquid fats one 1 oz of liquid fats would be slightly over 2 tbsp.

I don't know if this had been said, but have you tried the rule of the fist? Use your hand to measure your foods. I'm very surprised. I have overeaten on calories 3 times this past week and still managed to turn out a 2lb loss!! I'll be honest, I was not hopeful at all, but now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself. :)

Hi @Serendipity0913 I weighed in today, but next week I am having outpatient procedure and will most likey not be able do a weigh-in on Tuesday due to the nature of the surgery.
