I had to wash the stink out of my FitBit Flex band yesterday (I had been burning piles of old grass clippings) and I decided to slip my fitbit into the small band while the large one (that I always wear and had to wash) dried. The small fit! I even slept in it that night and it was not too tight.

Gahhh! That would almost get me to ONEDERLAND! HW 296 11/29/2015 SW 256.2 3/5/16 GW 206 by 8/31/16 I've just been focusing on trying to stay below my base calorie allowance and don't eat back activity calories. I had been eating basically the same things most days, but now am having fun mixing it up with lower calorie…

When I started this weightloss thing there was a pair of jeans that was a size too small at the time. Those same pair of jeans are actually getting too big now! I've gone in 2 notches on my bra band I noticed gat tying my shoes is so much easier now!
-
You can't loose weight unless you eat only salads and/or drink shakes. No real food allowed. You will never succeed if you allow yourself to eat ______(i.e. ice cream, pasta, etc).
-
To get to "40 pounds lost" (only 1.4 pounds to go) Officially shrink out of a certain pair of jeans that are currently loose but don't look bad yet Go on a 4+mile hike tomorrow (super hilly wooded area) My husband and I are going to a Diner for breakfast tomorrow to meet up with some people. My goal is to choose a…

That one day you will actually CHOOSE to eat zucchini noodles instead of normal pasta. That (atleast for me) it took 30 pounds lost before my obsession with the scale drastically decrease (once you start feeling better from loosing the weight it gets easier) That it gets annoying when every time you see certain people they…
-
To ignore the scale and just focus on what you know works (and is healthy, obviously)

2 more: 1) my mom asked me for fitness advice today 2) my pastor and his family said they noticed me getting healthier and that has made then start to be more active
-
Glad to hear that something positive has already come out of all you're having to deal with  I say go for whatever goal you're comfortable with. You can always adjust in the future if you want, and who cares what other people think of your goal. If it's something you feel is doable then you'll be more likely to…

Really? I thought it would let you choose any weight you'd like. I picked a goal that's 20 pounds above a "healthy" BMI for me and MFP accepted it. Hmm. Weird. Sounds like you're making a lot of changes! I wonder if this will make it easier to form new/healthy habits since you won't be stuck in your old routine.…

Being able to wear my wedding ring on a consistent basis (right now it depends on how much water I'm retaining that day). Keep going down on the notches on my belt (currently on notch 2) Walk up my country driveway without feeling like I'm going to die (driveway is 0.1miles long and super steep) Fit into an Old Navy XL…
-
I wore my wedding ring today! It was too tight yesterday (barely got it off when I tried it on) so whether or not I can wear it is probably based on how much water I'm retaining day by day, but it's definitely progress! Also, at my biggest (35 pounds ago) I couldn't even remotely wear my biggest belt, but I'm now on notch…

Fit Bit Flex ($100) Pros: counts steps, keeps track of minutes when you're extra active, let's me know how much sleep I'm getting each night and how restless I was, syncs easily with MFP to adjust my calorie allowance, has a count down on the app that tells me how many pounds I have left to loose (which is currently a…

Didn't that just thrill ya! @missyfitz1 Congrats!

We have goodies everyday at work, and they are kept right by my desk. There are lots of people in our office, but only one who I work super closely with and our desks are practically on top of eachother. This particular coworker is also trying to loose weight. She tells me every day to eat some of the donuts/cookies/cake…

I actually LIKE the taste of plain old water. Who would of thunk

33 pounds down and people are starting to notice. Also, I'm starting to notice my face getting slimmer!

I am 33 years old but felt 80. I had to use both my arms to help push myself up out of chairs because my legs couldn't handle it on their own

To get out of the 260's

I made the mistake of going to a meeting where I new there would be snacks (I had the choice not to go), BUT the positive that I'm choosing to focus on is that I only had 1/3 of the snacks I usually would have, still logged the Reeses Pieces and peanuts, and moved on. I threw the rest of the my bag of Reeses Pieces and…

@krb308 Activity level: I have a desk job and typically sit for 8 hours a day during the week, BUT....I recently got a stand up desk so I'm atleast standing most of the day now, even if no steps are involved. Looking at my FitBit it looks like I average about 6,000 steps a day. I don't go home and do any extra exercise,…

I'm totally there with ya; weekends are harder to stay on track! I worked on getting rid of temptations in the house yesterday (sent left-over goodies from parties with my husband to work, put chips and other temptations above the frig where I can't get to them without getting the step stool out....although my 6'4" husband…
