I'm in the process of quitting. My husband and I are quitting together, but he picked up another pack yesterday. If he manages not to do that again, then we're done with them.

Thanks everyone!

I make my meals separately from my husband.

You should look into Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, formerly known as Selective Eating Disorder. It's a condition that causes people to only be able to eat certain foods, as anything else seems to be a non-food item for them. It IS an eating disorder, and it's something you should seek help with if you do in…

My dad is the same way. I usually ask "this is great! Would you send me the recipe?"

Hey there, I'm in the same boat. My little one will be six months in a week and a half. Are you trying to lose all the weight before your anniversary or just make good progress? I think the latter is probably a better goal. Setting your standards too high can be counterproductive or unhealthy.

AllRecipes.com is my favorite.

I do Mommy & Me yoga with my 5-month-old.

My whole family is up here.

I lived there a few years ago. I'm up in New England now, and I miss it terribly.

No, because I can still get full. I just can't do it by eating a whole pizza by myself anymore. I do it through salads or other low-calorie foods.

I have this vanilla caramel tea made by Bigelow. It's so good!

My girl was born in July. I do yoga videos on DoYogaWithMe.com (all free). I also dance around the house holding my daughter and work up a sweat that way. When it's nice out, I'll push the stroller around the neighborhood.

I do yoga videos from DoYogaWithMe.com

When that happens to me, I drink tea. There's this one that's vanilla and caramel flavored that really calms my sweet tooth.

I only have one little one (5mo) but I try to integrate her into my workouts. I do Mommy & Me Yoga. Yesterday I held her as I danced around the kitchen and worked up a sweat that way.

I will say something positive about REGULAR tea. The last time I lost a lot of weight (about 70lbs), I made green tea a big part of my routine. I used it as a replacement habit. Whenever I got the urge to eat out of boredom, I would have a cup of tea instead. It helped me to consume less calories. There was nothing magic…

My rewards are things like smaller clothes and kitchen equipment. Once I hit my goal, I'm going to spend the several hundred dollars to enroll in a yoga instructor licensing program that I've been contemplating for a couple years now. One of the reasons that I'm working on losing the weight is because I want to have more…

Have you ever tried yoga therapy? It's definitely not a replacement for regular therapy or medication, but I find that it's an essential part of my self-care, along with medication and therapy. I have anxiety (OCD) and seasonal depression. When I'm having a bad day, the right yoga video can really pick me up and get me…

Wow, I'm amazed you're even on this site so early after baby! It took me a couple months before I started caring about myself again! Congrats on the new addition, and more power to you on being driven to reclaim your body. Just make sure you wait for the doctor's okay before starting up an exercise regimen again.

I'm adding you! My girl is 5 months old.

My girl is 5 months old! I'm pumping, though, so I know my output and there's less guesswork. It's 20 calories an ounce.
-
I'm a work-at-home mother of a 5 month old, but I'm a freelancer, so my workload varies. I don't have any major projects at the moment. Getting motivated is especially hard on days like today, when she kept me up all night.

Set your goal on MFP to maintain your weight and try to stick to the caloric intake it gives you. Stick with that for a while and give your body time to heal.

I "fainted" at work twice before (several years back). I went to the hospital, and it turned out it was a kind of seizure. As PP have said, there are so many things that this could be caused by, that you really need to see a doctor to determine the cause.
-
Are you getting any protein?
-
First of all, congratulations on your recovery! I've been there and I know it's not easy. What are you doing for exercise? Increasing your number of calories burned will allow you to eat a little more, but PP is right - if you were eating large amounts before, your body may need to adjust to a healthier amount.

You could always add something like sliced almonds into your salads. I usually do that. Sometimes I'll crumble up a strip of low-sodium bacon and put that on top.
-
I'll usually make a cup of tea or something. That way I'm consuming and relaxing without all the extra calories.

It's okay to have slip ups once in a while, as long as you get back on track afterward. You can also skip a weigh-in. I skipped my weighing the day after Christmas because I knew it was going to give me a higher number than I wanted to see. It sounds like you're motivated to get back in the game, so more power to you! You…
