I did the 10000 swing challenge over 30 days. The first week is a *kitten*, but it gets better. I was only averaging approx 300-350 swings a day over 7 days. I don't notice a massive weight loss but I was tighter and my core lifts got stronger. I followed a program from t-nation designed by Dan John.

I had the HR and have since switched to the jawbone UP24

Start with weights, yoga, and walking. The yoga and weights will teach you to breathe and stay calm. Once you learn to breathe increase the walking pace....it's a slow process but hang in there.

I'm a severe asthmatic. I also have been recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis in my lungs. I lift heavy weights 3-4 days and week and run 5 kms frequently on off days. I've found that Breo-ellipta has been the best medication for me. The key is finding a good respirologist and putting one foot in front of the other...

I also have an autoimmune disease. Recently diagnosed and scared. I'm sure once I get over the shock i'll be looking for something similar.

I just bought a Jawbone UP24 this weekend. It was on sale from $160 to $50. I love it so far. Very comfortable.

It's a painful few days when I cut it. If.you go.to the health food store.you can get all natural fruit snacks etc
