I am a severe asthmatic that was recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis. Yoga and weightlifting have helped me learn to control my breathing. I try to run 5 km every other day. Sometimes I can do it in 25 mins, other times it's over 30. I also walk every night. Start slow and build up. Add me if you want.
