Steps or miles is fine. An adult has a pace of between 2000 and 2500 steps per mile, so I'm using the middle point, 2250, and working it out from there. When people enter steps, I divide the number of steps by 2250 to get the mile count. I figured it was probably the fairest way of doing it without actually travelling to…

I'll usually leave it to the following day before totalling up, and usually later in the day to cover the time difference. Right now its lunchtime on the 4th here in the UK, so I'll give it a couple of hours and then tally up the data from the 3rd.

I lost 3lbs last week, taking me to 301lbs, so close to the 300 mark! That's a total loss of 29lb down so far.
-
Weighed in this morning at 301lbs, just 2 measly pounds from that mini goal of 299lbs.

Despite my mental wobble, I'm back. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I was feeling overly sensitive yesterday, and should have just taken some time to chill out. I know how I should react when I get angry or upset, but putting it into practice is much easier said than done! I guess I hit a bump in the road and didn't…

I'm back.

I used to log it all, but I took a look at the figures one day and things seemed really off, so I don't bother any more.

I have quite wide feet also. I actually bought a pair of men's walking shoes which fit me really well. I tried on a lot of women's walking shoes, and they were all quite narrow, but the men's sizes were more generous. I ended up spending £30 (around $43), which is more than I've ever spent on shoes, but they're very…

I binged :( I got really upset about some stuff, completely flew off the handle, and proceeded to eat all my partners snack stash. I didn't really have any of my own snacks left (I ran out on Friday), other than a couple of carrots and half a cucumber left, and I just got so angry and upset that I just shoved the food into…

As I've totalled the first two days, are you ok with me tagging these on to days three and four? If you're able to update as you go for the next couple of days, I'll make sure these get added on.

No worries @Tata0716 we've a long way to go yet, we're just happy to have you with us :)

Day Two: We lingered a little longer than we probably should have at the glorious lighthouse at Anglesea, and decided on a more leisurely pace for day two, as we'd done so well on Day One. We walked along paved streets, sandy beaches, picked our way through some bumpy rock beds, waving to the nice people of Southern…

Ok, I'm sorry its a little late, but here is our first official update.... Day One: Our day one total was a whopping 26.4 miles!! Well done everyone. This was the view that greeted up when we reached Anglesea - a beautiful scenic lighthouse, the perfect place to have a short break, dig out those lovely healthy packed…

Added that for you, and nice walking today

Yesterday wasn't a very active day for me. My mood was really low, so instead of doing what I should have done and going for a walk in the fresh air, I retreated to my bedroom and hid from the world behind my duvet for most of the day. I only managed 2100 steps yesterday, so I hope to do more today.
-
Under my calorie goal yesterday, hope to do the same today.

Ah, got it, thanks for explaining. I'm not sure my budget would allow me to stick to such a diet. Things that are organic or the like are, more often than not, a fair bit more expensive, so for now I'll have to stick to eating slightly unclean, ha ha. The one thing I do spend a little more on though is cage free eggs…

I don't think it sounded rude at all, far from it

Awesome work Ashley, you can really see the changes! May I ask a question? What does the term 'eat clean' mean? I've seen several people say it but I'm not sure what it means. Clearly its working well for you, and I'd love to hear more (and pinch some ideas if I can, haha).

I'll add our combined steps/distances to the site, and then I'll post a report and a picture of our new location in this thread, so we can all see where we are. And as for the cute pets and funky persona, totally up to you. Feel free to be as inventive as you like, its all about the fun here in Team Awesome

I've never considered bariatric surgery, mostly because I have an aversion to the idea of having any surgery (I'm scared of going under anesthetic), but also because I watched a documentary some time back that showed what happens during different types of weight loss surgery. Now, I'm not squeamish. I've had jobs where…

I've input your activity for today. You might have disappeared off screen to the right as there are now more of us. I've got a fairly big screen on the chunky old monster that is my laptop, and you just about squeeze on at the end, I need to scroll to see the others: If you still have problems, let me know your data and I…
-
Hinder schminder, even if you only get one day of activity in, you've got us that much closer to the finishing line  Don't stress yourself about entering any activity until you feel better. Your health always comes first. You rest up, and we'll see you at the finish line

Here.

7663 steps yesterday. Not bad really, considering I went to bed pretty soon after getting home from work. I was helping run an event yesterday which meant I was running back and forth between two buildings all day.
-
I was under my limit, but mostly because I was really p***ed off and went to bed for a 'nap', and only just woke up (12 hours later!)
-
Welcome, fellow walker  I've added you to the sheet, give it a little time to update and then you're all ready to go.
-
AND.... we're off! Welcome to Australia, ladies and gentlemen. We start our walk in Torquay, where its currently a sunny 25 degrees. There are a few fluffy clouds in the sky, and there's a gentle breeze blowing through your hair. Let's get stepping!

Hi @baby962 Welcome to the team, we're delighted to have you join  I've added you to the spreadsheet; it seems to take an hour or so for changes to appear, but you should be on there next time you check.
