It's common to have different reactions to different food allergies. Gluten gave my son hives and eczema. Dairy gave him incontinence and eczema. Other foods the reactions would vary depending on how inflamed his body was at the moment. Hives, rashes, extreme anger, etc. lots of different possibilities reaction wise.

What you're describing with avacado is an allergic reaction. I almost mentioned bananas and latex. There is also a pineapple/latex connection. We discovered I was allergic to latex when an allergy test showed me allergic to pineapple and bananas. A lot of times you won't have a reaction to an item until you remove it for…

I completely second @jagodfrey08. A testosterone in low range is not going to feel very good. Some people can manage with hormones in the low ranges but most people feel and function better with their hormones in the upper 1/3 of the "normal" range. You might look for a functional medicine doctor vs. just your regular GP.…

It won't let me go back and edit on my phone. #9 is a water balancer. It is used for fluid retention and is safe in pregnancy.

#9 cell salt. 4 pellets 4 times a day. You said no matter how it sounded. ;)

Honestly, this is very individual. Until you do it once you won't know how your body will respond. You should try a short walk and see how you do. From there you can decide what your body can handle. Probably the best thing is testing the walking and then putting your feet up as much as you can off and on during the day.

Dairy and gluten are biggies. Nightshades can also be a trigger (potatoes, tomatoes, egg plant, peppers, etc). Often eczema is exacerbated by cold/heat depending on the person. Chemicals in soaps, shampoos can be culprits as can essential oils (my DD can't do lavendar oil). Generally speaking, it is recommended to look at…

Totally this! I use a Misfit and my sleep graph is horrid. LOL

My body seems to think 4hrs at a time is its limit.

THIS! To not feel like I'm going crazy! I just had my first 50 day cycle and holy schmoly! It's so heavy compared to my "normal." I am so hoping I don't have ten years of this. More and more considering going back on bio-progesterone. I snapped with my kids the other day for no reason and it was entirely hormonal.

I have pcos and I find I have to be meticulous in measuring my food and I've had more success lifting weights progressively when it comes to weight loss. I still do small amounts of cardio but it's definitely lifting that has helped when it comes to exercise.

Oh goodness!!! I love that board! What a fabulous idea for keeping little ones busy!!

My DD uses mag oil b/c she is chronically low in mag. I'll borrow some of it to see if it helps with getting to sleep. Good thought. I've not known rhus tox to help with restlessessness. That's interesting. I'll have to look it it up in my hpathy books.

Well, thanks for confirming that. It's stinks, but at least I know it won't go on forever. :s

My doctor asked me to do IF bc she said it is phenomenal for lowering blood sugar and A1C. I hold her no but that's bc I just don't want to do IF right now. I've done it before and it just doesn't fit my life right now. Every body is different. The only way you'll really know if it works for you is to try it for 30-45 days…

I'm not sure people are so much trying to change your mind as share their experiences with you. One thing I've learned over the years is women like to talk and share their birthing experiences. Although it's funny how horror stories tend to stick with us rather then the good stories. Lol! And FWIW, people who have walked…

^^^^This^^^^ Yep. More likely to tear all the way to the perineum with an episiotomy. My doctor used olive oil and mineral oil with massage to avoid doing them.

Everyone has covered the basics. Here's a few additions: YOUR BIRTH PLAN - make sure you have multiple copies. 3 for nurses (one for each shift. Hand it to your nurse personally on each shift and go over it with her b/c trust me, they won't share it with each other!). One copy for your doc (although she really should go…

I have a close friend who is following a different route to lose weight but is still focusing on nothing being off limits, just portion size it. She bought me a pretty box from a craft store just slightly bigger then a shoe box. In it she put nail polish, socks, lotions, soaps, earrings, and all kinds of other little…

Everyone has pretty much said it all. I just wanted to encourage you to hang in there. You're almost done! This last little bit is hard both emotionally and physically and you've already had such a hard go of it. Your belly gets bigger, the water piles on, and the hormones make for some crazy emotions. You're so close and…

I have no choice right now but to be low glycemic bc of specific health issues and I'm finding it very very hard to do. I'm suppose to stay at 40% carbs with those being as low glycemic as possible, 40% fat and 20% protein as best I can. Very hard for me because I love my carbs. Since we expect this to be temporary (hoping…

Well, actually you're wrong about it being a myth. My doctor had me take ACV (I used capsules) when I was a gestational diabetic to help with my morning blood sugars. Different doctor, different state, a friend that had a baby a few months ago was told by her doc to use it for that as well. So, apparently, some mainstream…

This definitely. There are better of both out there!

See my note above about pregnancy and sickness......

I didn't have time at that moment but wanted to respond quick since she was so sick (and hopefully educate a few people on some things in the process). I like someone's suggestion of reading the first and last page of a thread to get the gist. That's an excellent idea and doesn't require reading 4 pages if there isn't…

They are not clueless. But just like any practitioner, there are good ones and bad ones. I've had good medical doctors and horrible medical doctors. I've had good ND's and not so good ND's. Six medical doctors didn't have a clue what was wrong with my child for seven years. One good ND had him tested and diagnosed in days…

This is almost exactly what mine did! We eat healthy (90%) but I am not a healthy weight so that could certainly be a factor. I used bio-identical progesterone cream for 4yrs after my last DD was born and it was a lifesaver. I swear that stuff saved my marriage. LOL I was the wicked witch prior to it! I'd be tempted to do…

Oh my gosh! I just realized this is very similar (if not the same but different name - which I'm suspecting) to one of the treatments they gave my son. :o He got aseptic meningitis from it and was so ill it scared the crap out of us. He was in a coma like state for 3 days. It was one of the reasons we walked away from the…

Polysorbate 80 is a HUGE allergen for people with histamine issues. @elphie754 you are being very wise in this situation. Trust your instincts.....

Mine did. I've run low my entire life (I mean like 90/60). All of a sudden when my cycles went wonky in my early 40's my blood pressure started increasing. It's running about 135/85 right now. It doesn't even really run in my family per se (although massive heart disease does). I will never take pb pills. Although the…
