Agreed... it's a little pricey where I buy it, but it's the best I've tried so far.
-
Indeed it is... I add Frank's Red Hot when I want a savory snack, and apricot or mixed berry preserves for sweetness. I have to look for protein wherever I can get it!
-
OK, that sounds kinda weird, but I have to try it! I love all the ingredients on their own, so why not smash 'em together? My favorite combo is a mashed avo with sliced tomato and mozza on a slice of lightly buttered wheat toast.

Yes, I believe so... so it's acceptable in that case, but since I don't like red velvet cake... ;)

First, I would like to apologize for contributing to hijacking the thread... mea culpa! Second, I understand regarding weight loss - I didn't mean to imply that it was a solution for everyone, and especially for those within a healthy range. Third, no, I didn't experience any side effects that I can recall. It's a…

Yes... yes, I am :yum: But I must take exception to the cream-cheese frosting rule... good carrot cake practically demands a mildly sweet cream cheese frosting!

Yep... I don't know anyone who takes imitrex daily. I was at the same point (not quite 7 days a week, but at the beginning of treatment, it was 3-5 at least and practically living at the doctor's office, and then after I started propranolol, it went down to 3-5 per month, and now only once every 3-4 months, thank God).…

Cakes are never frosted with chocolate in our house (and my wife, God bless her, makes the best homemade vanilla frosting I've ever tasted)!

Whoa, that pizza almost - ALMOST - makes me wish I weren't vegetarian! We do family pizza nights every Friday. Other than that, I got nothin' planned. And that's exactly as I like it!
-
Aw, dang! I'm Catholic... how did I not know that?
-
Same here. I just assume it all went into the food!
-
Protein - because I'm a vegetarian. I'm more concerned, however, with vitamin B12 and iron.

My oldest son has epilepsy and took Topamax to control his seizures. It was an absolute nightmare and didn't last long. Doc didn't mention anything about weight loss and if I remember correctly, his appetite was out of control while on the drug. And I suffer migraines and my doc has never mentioned Topamax - instead, I'm…

We do the same with fuzzy flavored waters in our house. They're very satisfying!

Planet Fitness typically has lots of cardio equipment. Start off with the treadmill at a slow pace (or elliptical if you prefer something easier on your knees, as you've mentioned having a knee problem). I did several weeks of walking only before I was comfortable enough to do run-walk intervals. Make an appointment with…

Yep... Sterling Heights. You're not too far from me!
-
Fair enough... I just prefer smaller portions of full-fat, real-sugar ice creams.
-
mm-hm... Cherry Garcia for me!
-
Black beans, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, yogurt... lots of good, satisfying options!
-
Yep. Sounds like me. I'm indulging today (within my calorie budget) but will be a bit more careful tomorrow.
-
Oh, and I've just finished a cheese pastry from Panera. 400 calories of pure deliciousness and a perfect companion to their hazelnut coffee (with half & half and real sugar)!

Yes, a group sounds like a great idea! And you're all welcome to send friend requests!

Our gym admits anyone 14 or older. I had to prove my daughter's age with a birth certificate before they'd admit her, though.
-
I wish that were true. I eat a fair amount of quinoa and still have migraines.
-
I make my own or use the excellent Bolthouse Greek yogurt dressings.

mmmm, baklava! There are lots of Lebanese restaurants nearby, and they all serve baklava. Amazing stuff!

Totally love this thread... I don't avoid anything but meat (it rips my gut to shreds). I'm short on fat & carbs today, so I'll be getting ice cream later - not that Halo Top stuff everyone seems to love, but REAL ice cream (preferably with chocolate and/or peanut butter, unless I get Almond Dream cappuccino flavor... so…

That's impressive! I'm slightly over 17% (5'6" and ~142 lbs.) and pretty happy, considering where I was a year ago.
-
I've just looked over my records for the past few weeks, and it's been between 49 and 52.
-
Yeah, if I did that, gut cramps and a day on the toilet would ensue, not joy...
