Agree with all the points stated above. Those are the possible reasons. Strategies that really help with appetite control are Intermittent Fasting, Keto diet. Whenever I went on a cut I always struggled with hunger pangs even with small deficits. Intermittent Fasting helped a lot!

It important to kill yourself in the gym. When you absolutely assault yourself in the gym to get in awesome shape, it's impossible to binge.
