  • @AbandondedKSCharger , still here to support you as you are doing for me. WE CAN do this. Thanks for being my buddy on this journey
  • @alteredsteve175 , I see so many referenced of HITT for fitness exercise, guess I am old as I don’t know what that means?
  • @21RelentlessOne , add me as a friend if you would like. I cannot relate to the weight loss surgery, but did have recent surgery for diverticulitis that was not responding to meds. SO GLAD that is over now, and I am feeling so much better and enjoying my loved strawberries, nuts, popcorn and so much more yummies that I had…
  • I haven’t been monitoring as couldn’t get into Community for a few weeks, not sure what the issue was. I’m still here, and trudging on towards goal. Lost 26.2 to date, about 35 more to get to ‘my goal’ of 175. I’m getting close to hitting that ‘below 200 mark’ and so excited as it’s been YEARS since I was under 200. Have…

  • @Evamutt Happy Birthday!! What a better way to celebrate than to start getting those extra lbs off, you can do it as you’ve proved that with your 50 lb loss! That is inspirational to me and others who are working at it. I’m not sure what the HIT class is, but I too am coming off a longer recovery from two surgeries and…
  • @AbandondedKSCharger , my weekly update, lost .8 lb this week for total to date of 19.2 lb. Weight of 212.8 with goal of under 200 by June 5 (vacation). My ‘normal’ weigh day is Wednesday but had to do today as tomorrow will not have access to same scale. Been 71 days today, starting to feel the loss as some jeans are…
  • @suziecue25 add me as a friend, the comments and such on daily posts really are helping me out. Day 70 today, down 17 lbs, quite a ways to go, but more motivated this time than ever before. And starting to feel the loss is really helpful.
  • @ChrisS_51 , your story is so inspirational, keep at it and re-read your own story to help you remember ‘why’ and to motivate you. I’ll send a friend request as would be fun to comment on your daily posts, and see how my new Australian MFP is doing.
  • @Kfletch1959 , welcome and yes you can do it! Some of us have friended each other and then can see daily ‘completed log’ and ‘losses’, that is really helping me this time around. I’ll send a friend request, so accept if you like and ask others too. @AbandondedKSCharger has been a big help that way, she is always supportive.
  • @AbandondedKSCharger , I am 62, and newly retired, current weight 215 which is 17 less than I was on Jan 2 when started at 232. first goal is 200 by end of June, ultimate goal is between 160-175 and to get off bp meds.
  • It really is hard once over 60, but so determined to get this excess weight off this time. I know it will be a long journey, followed by lifetime changes of some bad habits. First goal is 32 pounds, and I’m 15 off today on day 60. Then step two is another 25 pounds and re-evaluate to see if content with that weight. Charts…
  • @lovechattys , Wow, so inspirational, and what I need to hear to stick to this journey. Long ways to go, but need to just keep at it. Thanks for sharing your story.
  • @AbandondedKSCharger , like your idea, but not sure how to add to the same thread? This is kind of a text to see if works.
  • @Schatzi43 Click on the person ‘blue text name’, then a new window opens, click on blue text name again, then select the ‘face’ icon and that opens window to add name and comments and send friend request.
  • Just read recent posts on this site, and thank you for the inspiration. I ‘restarted’ MFP Jan 2 this year, down 15 lbs to date, but long ways to go. Used this app about 10 years ago to lose a chunk, but then strayed from it and gained it all back plus some. This time started at 232, initial goal is to get under 200 by June…
  • Wondering too if the ‘original’ folks on here are still using MFT and having success. 62 years old, started Jan 2, 2019 and down 15 lbs; but SO HARD. Have much more to lose to just ‘feel better’ and goal of getting off BP meds. Want to be an active grandma. Newly retired, started volunteer work. Joined a new discussion…
  • 62 pounds, that’s awesome!!!!
  • It’s Friday and close to the weekend, which is the hardest time for me to stay on track with watching my calories. Seems I do pretty good during the week, but oh those weekends can be really hard. Hang in there everyone, we CAN do this and get these pounds OFF. I’m also wondering if any of you ‘older’ friends are having…
  • Some of you are offering to ‘add as friend’, does that allow us to see each other’s daily log completions, etc? If yes, I need to figure out how to do so....
  • I’m new at joining these threads, and have used MFT 10 years ago to drop some weight. Well, over time and aging, it has all come back on and I HAVE to get it off again. I know this is needed for my health as I get older; and to just feel good again. I started on my own Jan 2 (with my daughter as my sole cheerleader), just…
