hey there. I have bpd and depression, but not serious anxiety. do you take meds to help with the anxiety? in my experience with people who suffer from debilitating GAD, meds are really the only thing that help. as far as the bpd and depression go, getting my body back to its happy place has definitely helped me, as does…

I go to the gym and lift 3x/week, as per stronglifts 5x5, but on rest days I usually do at least a little bit of walking. sometimes a lot of walking.

I'm 5'3. 110lbs was my natural weight that I had settled down at for years and years before metabolic syndrome reared its ugly head. so now I'm back down to 110 and happily maintaining there. I started to feel okay about my body at 120, but 110 is just fine with me too and it seems to be where my body wants to be so I'm…

you don't need a spotter. squat racks have bars built in that allow you to just let the bar fall down onto them as you wiggle out from under it, and for bench press just don't use the collars outside the weights, and if you get stuck, you just tilt the bar to one side and the weights will fall off that end and you won't be…

didn't mean to ignore you, I've just completely forgotten to check in on my groups! journalling apps are not something I knew existed. is there one you would recommend?

I'm actually doing well sexually, but my libido had gone to *kitten*…

atypical antipsychotics actually do cause weight gain, via metabolic syndrome. I got it from seroquel. that said, you can still lose the weight on them, it's just really hard work. I did it.

it's a pretty high priority for me. I only go to the gym 3 times a week because i'm doing Stronglifts, but I make sure I get those 3 workouts in every week. if I have to schedule appointments on my usual gym days then I shuffle my gym schedule around to make sure I don't miss a day. and I plan high protein meals for days I…

as others have said, seroquel is commonly prescribed at a low dose as a sleeping pill. the antipsychotic effect doesn't happen until a much higher dose. at such a low dose seroquel is essentially an antihistamine. a lot of psychotropic medications are prescribed for multiple conditions/purposes at varying doses. it's…
