stronglifts calls for just one set of 5 reps for deadlift, but I was trained to do the mixed grip thing and I have some OCD tendencies which means I can't deal with doing 3 reps with one wrist forward and only 2 with the other wrist forward so I do 1x6 instead. lol.

I just do my workout in the morning so I'm fresh and not tired. I'm often fatigued so it's the best way for me to make sure I get my workouts in. also I really enjoy what I do at the gym so I always look forward to doing it. it's important to make sure you're doing something that you like to do so that you won't even want…

lime juice and lemon juice. makes everything so good

today I finally did my overhead press with the olympic barbell! which means I now do my whole workout with it, every time. super stoked :D
-
yeah I honestly don't get it either.
-
so lower the amount of pounds you want to lose a week.

I've never had an issue with any pants I've ever tried on that are made out of the moisture wicking material. they just always fit nice and tight. and you can get them pretty cheap from just about anywhere nowadays, it seems. pretty much all women's clothing stores have an activewear section these days.

no doubt, you wouldn't see me potentially passing up a squat rack after already waiting fifteen bloody minutes for it.
-
MFP has me set to 1240 currently, but I find I have to stick to closer to 1000 + half of any exercise calories to lose even half a pound a week. that said, I'm coming off Seroquel, which is an antipsychotic medication known to cause metabolic syndrome. have you been to a doctor to find out why you need to eat so little to…

got a prescription today from my doctor for an SSRI. last time I tried an SSRI it didn't go well so I'm nervous but hey, things could go differently this time around, who knows. it's been a few years. I don't start it for a week because I'm still lowering my dose of Seroquel. fingers crossed it helps when the time comes.
-
been doing stronglifts for 2 months.

wow, I thought I knew a decent amount about different psychotropic drugs, between personal experience and having been a psych major for a few years, but I honestly didn't know that it was actually recognized that antipsychotics do indeed affect the metabolism. I really appreciate the information, thank you. sorry to…

dinner because I only get 1200 calories + exercise so I eat small meals for breakfast and dinner to make sure I have room left for dinner plus it's usually not until dinner time that I know exactly how many exercise calories I got back for the day so I end up with more calories for it.
-
well, yes and no. different class of drug yes. but everyone claims that psychotropic medication, regardless of class, only makes you gain weight via making you hungrier. yet in my (admittedly anecdotal) experience, there is more to it than that.
-
I gained 30 pounds after a year on Seroquel. I've lost almost all of it though.
-
15% smaller. but it also seems to think I'm an hourglass shape which I am so not. lol. definitely not that curvy
-
nothing wrong with deciding on a new goal. I'm also 5'3 and I didn't start to like how I looked until I got down to about 120.
-
I'm coming off a different medication, Seroquel, which is an antipsychotic, but for 2 days recently I experienced discontinuation symptoms and at the same time that that happened, I suddenly dropped 4 pounds like it was nothing. so in my experience, with these kinds of drugs, I don't care how many people claim it's only…

assuming the kids are little and have normal activity levels for little kids, a stay at home mom certainly isn't sedentary! I would choose lightly active and then log purposeful exercise on top of that.
-
I started out with the fixed weight bars. 15lbs, super light, to focus on form for a while and get my strength up. it's been almost 2 months and I can now use the olympic bar for everything except the overhead press.

regular self care. and routine.

exactly! keep on soldiering. you have it in you to do this! it's a vicious cycle. awesome to find a healthy balance though. best of luck! things have actually been kind of stable for me the last few weeks. things aren't falling apart every other day, or even every week. I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.…

I was doing protein shakes, protein bars, greek yogurt, everything I could think of that seemed easy, and the only thing that's shot me up from only ever getting halfway to my protein goal to suddenly going over it is chicken breast. huge amounts of protein there.

I weight myself every morning but I only log it on here when I get down to a weight previously not reached. so whenever I've lost a pound.

I like sunflower oil. I would buy peanut oil but it's always expensive. but to be honest I usually just end up getting canola because I'm poor as *kitten*.
-
I love your style, and you look amazing!
-
this might be a weird thing to say, but.... I love your face. you have great eyes. I also love your outfit in the middle picture!
-
omg that looks so *kitten* good. are those chicken nuggets? I thought they were falafel at first and I was so jealous. my boyfriend is making pasta.

I have no idea about the garmin thing, but you can always just manually add your exercise to mfp, and only log half of your exercise minutes. that's what I do, that way I don't have to do any extra math, I just get to eat what it says I get to eat.
