Beans and fortified iron cereals are a great source of iron.

That's more or in-line with some bodybuilders that weigh 210 pounds! Why would I ever need that much?

Hey don't worry about eating a couple things outside your diet every once in a while, it'll keep you sane! If you're craving something, might as well just have a little bit of that craving every week or two. It's better than craving it, never satisfying the crave, and then binging on it! It's all about balance and what…

I can say weight loss is a caloric deficit and also say to keep your fats low? I'm not all over the place at all.

Curry stirfry with rice is always a classic and always fills me up

Couple bananas or a fruit smoothie.

Ninja's Single Serve blenders are pretty useful.

That's all weight loss is, a caloric deficit.

"Not everyone can follow your "cookie cutter" diet man, people are different."

Yes, that exactly makes them "Fatty foods" if they contain 15g of fat in one snack. People on a HCLF diet would eat only maybe 20-30g a day of fat. So that 15g of 4 cookies takes up a majority of their fats for the day; hence they are High Fat Foods.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/545106-can-too-much-protein-deplete-calcium/ "High-protein diets may be effective for short-term weight loss, but long-term consumption of excess protein can deplete your body's calcium. In addition, high-protein diets can lead to nutritional deficiencies, inadequate fiber intake and…

Well if I get such low protein, what do YOU think is a good enough amount of protein? I'm not a bodybuilder so why do I need more than 50g's of protein..?

Pet peeve - people who call me clueless and say I have awful advice yet have lost 60+ pounds with my advice.

Lol

Jillian Michaels is okay for workouts, but for food advice, I can't think of anyone worse lol

"Carbs are unneeded" lol

High amounts of protein can leech calcium out of your bones.
-
Probably because you set your new metabolic average to be 1200 calories a day so anything over that you're body is going to think it's eating more than you should so you'll gain weight.
-
When people try and tell me that fat is good for you. Like yeah let me stop eating my veggie carbs, grains, and legumes to eat sausages, bacon, and eggs to be more healthy lol.
-
More raw sugar and carbs the more energy you have, that's never a bad thing!
-
Never wrong to be getting too many carbs! If you need protein and some fat, I suggest buying some tofu and trying recipes with that!
-
If you like eating food, then don't feel guilty to eat a little more each day! Just train that much harder to burn those extra calories during your workouts! I LOVE to eat so I try and burn 1k calories a day to eat 3k a day ;)

If you're on a HCLF lifestyle, then you're probably hitting numbers like 75/15/10. To eat a couple cookies, say 4, and for that to have 15g of fat, that'd be a lot of fat for one snack on a HCLF lifestyle.

Gee, last time I checked, they contribute to both carb and fat macros, and there's this miraculous app that tracks both of them so you aren't forced to put them in a single category. (Except for oils, which no person with a smidgen of knowledge about foods would describe as a carb, since oils are pure fat.) [/quote] Yes…

As I stated,"You (the person I was replying to) and I, as HCLF, put those foods in the fat category, not carbs." Cookies and chips are HIGH FAT foods for a person on a HCLF diet. They are not carb foods, they are fats foods.
-
I find that VERY hard to believe.
-
Weight loss is calories in vs. calories out. You can't argue that.

Meat is more insulin resistant than veggies and fruits my friend.
