Great job!!! And Happy Birthday!!!!!

Mine is so boring compared to all of yours - my first two initials and last name. I have no creativity
-
I love it!

You look awesome! Thanks for the comparison and numbers - very good to know!

I have absolutely nothing to add about the test, but did you at the *puppy* or was it MFP? Perhaps after one *kitten* they though it appropriate to up it to a *puppy*? Just curious

I first tried Atkins about 20 years ago. Oh how I wish I'd stuck to it then! I lost about 30 lbs in high school using it (got to 135 lbs at 5'3"), and everyone told me that I "couldn't stick to it forever" and "it wasn't healthy long term" and blah blah blah, right up to me going back to my old way of eating, and at my…

I ran across this picture on Pinterest a couple of years ago - it has helped me hone my avocado picking skills

That's so exciting! I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible! You've always been one of my inspirations on this board.

Here's one of my favorites: https://smittenkitchen.com/2007/08/my-favorite-side-dish/ Also, do you have a spiralizer? Zucchini noodles are always the first thing that come to mind!

I just had a little epiphany and ran to the computer for the nearest BMI calculator. I am no longer considered "obese"! Merely "overweight"! Happy happy happy dance! Makes me even more excited to go to the doctor in September  - and I am *never* excited to go to the doctor.

Have you ever tried yoga? It's my favorite  You get stronger and it's a great stress reliever! You do have to focus on things, but that helps quiet my brain that is usually yammering at me about all of the things.

I have 2 T of heavy whipping cream in each cup. It is amazing  I used to do Splenda too, but got off all artificial sweetener in April. I don't even miss it - it's amazing how low carb can change your tastes!

One of the trickiest parts of the LCHF life is getting over the years and years and years of "low fat is best!" Once you manage though, you find out high fat just tastes so much better and is so much more satisfying! I don't know about cracking whole eggs in advance and using them as needed. I worked at a bakery as…

Hi @darlswife! I don't have a lot of advice, as I've been hanging around the same weight for about a month now. I think my main issue is that I was on vacation for a month and while I stayed on plan, I was a eating a lot more snacks than usual and maybe eating when not hungry. (At least I didn't gain, my usual MO on…

Sounds yummy!

Do you like macadamia nuts? They are easy to overdo for me, so I'd only bring a small portion. Or, if you have a higher carb allowance, a trail mix of macadamias, little bits of very dark chocolate, and unsweetened coconut flakes is very good. You could probably even just make your own nut mix of your favorite lc nuts - if…

I'm an every day weigher too! I really like the app Happy Scale, which smooths out all of the fluctuations so you can see the overall trend.

Are you hungry? If not, I try to listen to my body and not eat. If you are hungry, cheese crisps or prosciutto are two of my favorite practically carb-free treats. Or olives. Yum!

Stubb's in the one that I use too. I think Annie's Organic is also comparable.

Don't worry about calories at all, for what I refer to as the "hungry phase" - the first week or two where you are going through carb withdrawal. And try giving up the artificial sweeteners - I'm amazed how much giving them up has affected my hunger.

I have been on "vacation" since June 27, first at my grandmother's house, now at my in-laws' lake house. (I say "vacation" because I am a SAHM and one of my favorite sayings is that for SAHMs "this isn't vacation, this is traveling for work!") Anyway, vacation is usually my downfall - that, and social situations. I haven't…

Thanks for sharing all of this! I'm anxious to keep following and seeing how it goes. Zero carb is something I've considered, but haven't been brave enough to give it a shot. Summer is too complicated for me - maybe in the fall  Keep up the great work!

I tagged you in the ones I bumped - check your little bell thing at the top of the page. Also, success stories were just added to the Launch Pad.

That's amazing @Vowder!
