Sounds very yummy!

Coffee with HWC is my breakfast every day. If you're not a coffee drinker, I hear it's good with tea too. And then you have something to sip on on the way to work!
-
Thanks again for the ideas everyone - I think I'll be prepared now  I hadn't heard of coconut manna/butter. I'll have to keep an eye out for it!
-
Ahhh, we are not stopping for lunch & dinner, so those are going into the cooler too (eggs, olives, etc.). Cream cheese rolled up in salami sounds like an excellent addition! Those do look amazing. I think I'll add them to the list! Thanks so much! I think I need to tighten up on my carbs in the next few days to squash…

Ha, well, if such a thing does not exist, that's okay. I do IF too, but for the past few days, I've been crazy hungry. I don't know why. I'm just worried that might happen in the car (11-12 hr trip). Eggs & olives are already on the list - although I was worried that eggs without the extra fat of butter would make me…

This is one of my goals - I think someone else mentioned it elsewhere. Once I get to goal weight, when eating with other people, to very obviously add fat to things. Small pleasures!

Great job! Inspiring photos!

Great job!!!!

This is cracking me up so very much!!! :D

Ha - I never realized that! Probably because at this point I have to buy my bras online or in a specialty shop (38GG). My dream is to buy a bra that comes in more colors than black, white, and nude!
-
Why wouldn't you? :#

This was AMAZING. Fathead pizza crust with spinach/artichoke dip topping (plus some shrimp that I added because I love them. And I'm noticing a pizza trend in this thread! :yum:
-
That is amazing! Thank you for sharing these. You've worked so hard - it's so inspirational!
-
Blue cheese stuffed olives are amazing! (If you like blue cheese) I was not an olive person until this WOE, but now I love them. Happy little salty fat bombs!
-
Huh, so I had to Google "Petchiae" to know what you were talking about - and it turns out I have them too! I've just been noticing them in increasing numbers within the last few weeks, and I've been keto since February. I thought they were just a "getting old" thing  . I guess if they are my only negative side…

HWC = Heavy Whipping Cream - it is amazing in coffee  Can you tell your mom a white lie, if you don't want to tell her about LCHF? (Something I totally understand - it has taken me a long time to get over what people think about how I'm eating). You could tell her your stomach has been upset and you are trying some…

From the cartoony picture, it kind of looks like this: I put that on facebook a couple of years ago after a mystifying nature walk and found out it was a "hedge apple", "horse apple," or "osage orange."

Ha! I wasn't thinking of hiding the drinking at all. More pulling the super cool flask out and mixing your own drink (and also offering to share). Good luck with whatever you decide!
-
Can you be that guy with a small flask? There will probably be Diet Coke already there, I'd imagine.

I save bacon grease in the fridge for cooking oil, but I hadn't thought of doing that with other fats - although I guess I never accumulate a ton of others while cooking. So much bacon grease though!
-
Congratulations!!
-
Wooooo's for you both!!!
-
Thanks @wabmester! For now my goal is fat loss, but I'd rather not sacrifice the muscle I do have because of stupid mistakes  . What I gleaned from reading that link was that as long as I eat enough protein, I maybe don't need to worry about timing? I hope so! I suppose I can also experiment on myself and see how I…

I first did LCHF when I was 16 (21 years ago - gasp!). I had amazing results and felt great, but of course I listened to all of those people who said it was way too unhealthy to eat that way my entire life. How I wish I'd been armed with the information I have now!! Does she like to read? I'd suggest Taubes "Why We Get…

Oh my goodness - that used to happen to me too! I was always so relieved to wake up and find out I didn't eat it.
